I think we should come up with our own list.

    LOL! Thanks for posting, joey.

I do want to say that Carlos Santana's products (shoes, for one) might have a good non-profit end rather than sheer profit. He runs the Milagro Foundation. Maybe a portion of the sales go for a good cause. Just a thought.

Very funny! What's not funny though is that awful ad pic for Unforgiveable, that woman looks like she's being assaulted! Disturbing indeed. What's even more disturbing is that my next thought was; "hmm, pina colada & jasmine? Sounds nice!" *Shudder* now l feel dirty!

Carlos Santana makes perfectly nice shoes (well, licenses his name to perfectly nice shoes, I suspect), so I think it's not that strange to see him add a perfume line.

Distubring celebrity perfumes? Two words: Jenna Jameson. Yes, you too can smell like a porno movie set.
This scent is great, but ... MORE KITTENS!

    "back notes"?
Made me laugh, but maybe that's another term for base notes? (or for civet? :-)

Teardrop, I almost spit tea on my keyboard when I read your post-hilarious!

That photo looks like date rape is going on. Even if you look at the photo sideways as though they are on a floor instead of against a wall, the connotations are still tres icky.

If mr Diddy ran the name by a focus group, maybe they said it was "sick" and he thought they meant that in the recent slang vernacular???

My contribution to the mix: After her appearance on Dancing with the Stars, how about Bristol Palin? "Abstinence" - notes of tanning spray, Alaskan wildflowers, and baby colic.

Thanks for sharing, some of these celeb frag, both from the article but also likely to be mentioned by us Basenoters (almost) fall into the category "fragrances that should have never been made"

I loved that. And thought it was somewhat appropriate for Huffpost's sometimes not-so-well-researched stories (a journalist who can't QUITE think of teh right word but it does start with a B and has "notes" in it.)...

Where's the American Idol flanker scent (inspired by America's Got Talent), called "Flopsweat"... she wonders.

Great Idea! Personally I'm not a big fan of celebrity fragrances. I think they are made to get there name out there more, to make money, and if they love that celebrity that much they would buy it for that reason. The only celebrity brands I don't think are bad are David Beckham, Antonio Banderas, and Sarah Jessica Parker. Sometimes, celebrity fragrances can be discontinued in the first few years because either its not selling anymore, or the celebrity is a wash up, and is unherd of anymore.
