Baume du Doge it`s more close to L'Artisan Dzonghka, Amouage Jubilation XXV and L'Artisan Aedes. It`s the same spicy-cedar structure that Bertrand Douchafor used in this fragrances, but here interpreted in a creamy, orange confection. The orange is sweet, spicy, somehow milky, and conduct to a cinnamon proeminent base that ends in a cedar and incense base. While I enjoyed this one, i thought that the idea was better executed in Jubilation XXV, and ended selling my bottle since i didn`t used it so much. But yes, there`s a christmas sort of aura, because of the warm, spicy touch with the sweet orange aroma and the milky creaminess. If you wans something similar of Jubilation XXV, that is less sweet, more spicy, and less expensive, this is a great alternative.
