I believe you can create massive sillage from almost anything if you apply enough, but a few long-lasting florals that you really have to be careful with are Givenchy's Ysatis and Amarige, Estee Lauder's Beautiful, Pleasures, Beyond Paradise and Private Collection as well as Private Collection Tuberose Gardenia, Dior's J'Adore, the original Chloe, Chloe Narcisse, Oscar de la Renta, So de la Renta, Guerlain's Jardins de Bagatelle, Boucheron de Boucheron and Jaipur de Boucheron, Cacharel's Eden, YSL's Paris, Malle's Lipstick Rose and Une Rose, Gianfranco Ferre (1984), and Houbigant's Quelques Fleurs.

I think this is a huge genre, so I'm sure we've only just scratched the surface.

eta - I almost forgot Gucci Rush. It should be right at the top of this list!

Oh yeah, Insolence most definitely! And probably L'Instant too, but that's getting into more oriental territory and another whole can of worms. But Chamade belongs here - it can be quite sillage-y, and very long-lasting.

And Joy - very floral, very long-lasting, great big sillage...especially if you spray.

I just tied 24 faubourg, and it was a nice frag, but thought it was a little on the light side. I had one spritz of Chloe intense and that was interesting with the rose and touch of spice. The original Chole I presume was Rose?
Any takers for Van Cleef, is that long lasting with good trail?

I have a sample of Joy in the EDT because that was all Nordstrums had on hand. Nice frag, so what is the difference between the EDT and EDP. Did they drop any notes and is the aldihydes alot stonger in the EDP because i am not a big fan of Aldihydes, they smell funny in some perfumes like Wite Linen.

LOL! I would also second YSL Paris again. Even in the EDT, this goes a long way.

Great suggestions have already been mentioned.

You might also add the new Ineke Gilded Lily, a woody floral that seem to last long on me.

The original Chloe is a huge and opulent peachy floral blend with orange blossom, honeysuckle, tuberose, jasmine, carnation, lilac and other florals in addition to rose.

I don't find Joy to be overly aldehydic, even in the lighter formulations although I'm not very familiar with the current edt. To me, Joy is all about the big, grand florals and the civet, especially in the parfum. Jean Patou also has 1000, a greener, slightly spicier floral - I find it more wearable than Joy, but it is a bit more crisp and aldehydic.

I find 24, Faubourg to be on the lighter side too, unless you overapply. But I tend to think of it as "Ysatis Light" so if you like the scent but want something bolder then I'd recommend Ysatis.

That original Chloe sounds nice an I am a big fan of carnation. It looks like it would last with that dark rich color and peachy sounds good. I'll have to look into 1000, YSL Paris, and this Insolence?

It's more of an oriental, but if you like carnation then you should also give Spellbound by Estee Lauder a sniff. It's very sweet and creamy, and like most Lauders it's very potent so longevity and sillage are givens. And of course there's Opium, another powerful and spicy floral oriental that's heavy on the carnation.

Alien by Thierry Mugler is another sweet and strong floral/oriental - it features jasmine over amber.

+1 for Joy, Fracas, Paris, Amarige, 1000. All are beautiful and persistent.

I'll also suggest Fragonard Fragonard. The parfum concentration lasts ages and is very affordable.

A la nuit, Joy and Bellodgia edp have great sillage but don't last long on me.

I'll suggest Balenciaga Michelle, Kenzo by Kenzo, Fidji, original Chloe and Chloe Narcisse. Big sillage + incredible longevity = 80's
