Default BOND NO 9: Andy Warhol Silver Factory

For those who own AWSF, I was just wondering how strong this stuff should be? Apparently I heard that Bond no 9 perfumes are supposedly strong. My AWSF doesn't seem to have that monstrous tenacity. And it doesn't last very long. Is it just my skin? Or did I get a bad bottle? =(

Sent you a "big" pm. I'm afraid you got a bad bottle. It is the highest concentration of the line (28%) and I have both very good sillage and longevity. A spray on the wirst is easily detectable after 8 hours.
    Current top 10 in no particular order : Malle - Carnal Flower (pre 2008) ; Montale - Black Aoud ; Bond #9 - Silver Factory ; Tauer - L'air du désert marocain ; C&Z - No 88 ; Francis K. - APOM ; Creed - Aventus ; Amouage - Epic ; Profumum - Dulcis In Fundo ; Amouage - Opus V

Volley, I'd recommend giving it a few more wears and actually try either applying less or at least apply it further away from your nose.

I often find that with the first few wearings of a new scent it seems to disappear quickly, but by the third or fourth wearing I can detect it throughout its full lifespan. It's weird - a scent that seemed to last only 3 or 4 hours suddenly lasts 10+. Hope that's the case with you, too.

    Good luck!

If I indeed get a bad bottle, I'll just use and abuse this one I have so I can get a better one!

I would suggest asking a person that's close to you instead of trying to figure it out yourself. You might have a bit of anosmia due to the scent being so close to you and you're just getting used to it.

Or maybe I just have high expectations from this frag. I read a lot that this should be strong. Maybe this is it, whatever I'm smelling. hahahaha

It is a very strong fragrance. I agree with SoS. Apply less and see if that works...you might be fatiguing your nose with over application.

I think you might be a bit anosmic to some of the ingredients. You mentioned to me that you were spraying twenty times and not feeling overwhelmed. That definitely sounds like you might be anosmic because if there was a "bad" bottle, you would smell it intensely at first and it would fade. I don't think there are "bad" bottles of most Bonds though as it's not terribly copied, etc and not highly concentrated with natural ingredients.

This happens a lot, scents are so strong your nose becomes fatigued to it.
