Gucci Pour Homme II by Gucci
This fragrance, created by Karine Dubreuil in 2007, opens with fresh notes of violet leaf and bergamot. Very soon the green-fruity opening transitions to the spicy notes of the heart: red hot chili pepper, pimento, cinnamon and black tea. The base is comprised of olive tree wood, tobacco leaves, musk and myrtle.

Molinard Homme I (1996) Fougère
•Top Notes: Clove, Chinese Geranium, Lavender, Myrrh •Middle Notes: Mint, Virginia Cedar, Guaiac Wood •Base Notes: Oakmoss, Vetiver, Patchouli, Labdanum
A nice, typical masculine from Molinard. This is a kind of hybrid between chypre and fougère, without being either: it has the lavender and oakmoss of a fougère, but lacks the expected tonka bean; it has the oakmoss and labdanum of a chypre, but none of the chypre top note of bergamot. Still it does very well as a quiet, unassuming sort of scent, perfect for the workplace, where those sorts of values are appreciated. It does equally well if one is in a contemplative mood, or is in need of soothing reassurance. Well made and pleasant, but not meant to be exciting. That's cool by me, sometimes — sometimes it's exactly what I'd like.

Eau de Parfum
Notes: Italian bergamot, bourbon geranium, coriander, patchouli, vetiver, amber, vanilla
Have I told you about the scent of jasmine? Have I spoken about the smell of the sea? The earth is scented. And I perfume myself to enhance what I am. That's why I can not wear a perfume that bothers me. Perfuming is an instinctive wisdom. And like all art, it requires some knowledge of yourself..."
