Good morning all. Just thought I would pop on and say hello, since i am still awake. But will be off to put myself to bed in moments.

Ines, you cheeky girl, have a sparkling day at work. You should be very tempting in Trouble.

I am going to refresh my Shalimar, so I will have lovely dreams.

Be well all and enjoy the day, see you back here later when I will arise.

Good morning all! Today's another autumn scent, Alahine by Teo Cabanel.
I've worn this before, such a nice scent. It's notes are bergamot, ylang ylang,
jasmine, Moroccan rose, iris, cistus, patchouli, benzoin, vanilla,
    sandalwood and musk.
I hope you all have a wonderful day!

    Cristalle here as well (edp)...

I'm wearing the last two spritzes from a decant. I haven't worn Cristalle in a long time, and I still love it, but you know what...it's making me craving a very faint tinge of leather with it, so faint you're not even sure it's there. What's gotten into me? Now I'm craving leather.

Seeing Brielle mention Shalimar, I'm taking that as a cue to wear some, which I haven't done in a long time.

The little saga … after requesting my emails be directed to a senior supervisor and filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, I got a call from Time Warner Dave (TWD), a prince of a fellow. He explained that everything is okay now, that this customer-service staff needs some additional training, and he gave me his direct phone number in case I encounter any further problems. It seems that TWD also recently experienced credit card fraud, and he understood just what I was iterating. Yay!

I still smell like orange blossom from putting on L'Occitane Fleur Cherie lotion before going to bed. I put a lot, since the lotion felt pretty liquid, so as I was falling asleep I started thinking about last year's season at the same time wondering why the topic came to mind. As I was sniffing my skin, I realized that the smell of the lotion reminded me of Alien, my Christmas gift from my husband and the smell of last season.

This morning, I can still see some faint similarity, but it's more like orange blossom and pretty faint. Not sure what I would like to layer with it. Shower is the most likely solution.

Good morning! I let the wardrobe randomizer choose my scent today -- unfortunately, I'm not sure it has very good taste, because it picked J.Lo Still. This is the second time I've worn it: the first time it was too sweet, dank, and chemical, and today it seems too sour, dank, and chemical, although the sour does seem to be finally wearing off. Maybe I don't like J.Lo, or maybe I don't like Earl Grey tea ... but I'm becoming sadly convinced that I don't like Still.

thank you for the kind welcome! I am a perfumista in training and loving it so so much. It's crazy that I think "hmmmm, should really have worn the L'Heure Bleue with my blue sweater yesterday and saved the L'Apres Ondee to go with my green one today ... i'm backwards!" I'm already planning to wear my black cashmere on friday with my black cashmere sweater, which leaves an opening tomorrow ... hmmmm, wonder if my samples of Juliet has a Gun will get here in time. Are these the kind of thoughts that are going to be going through my mind now? I may be becoming slightly obsessed, but it sure is a lot of fun!

{{{{Pomander}}}} hopefully you had sweet dreams as well.

Quarry!!!! Huzzah!!!!! Finally!!! and Shalimar to celebrate. It is a good day.

Welcome to Elizrj and iechris, wonderfully bold fragrances to choose, I am very impressed.

To keep with my Guerlain wearing, I think it is guilt over listing some of my Guerlain ltd. editions on ebay auction this week, I will be wearing Après l'Ondée, since it was drizzly earlier and now sunny.

Yes, I decided to start parting with a few of my Guerlains I did not adore, so I listed them on ebay. But now I am going back to the classics I have and revisiting them. Trying to find the love I originally had as a young girl pour la maison de Guerlain. It is working though, with the past few days of wearing classics I am reminded of how truly great the house was.

Hope everyone has a sparkling day.

Thank you for the welcome! Now I'm frantically searching ebay for Guerlains. I had no idea it would be so hard to find Apres l'Ondee and am very sad to find that. Is there any chance you do not adore L'Heure Bleue and are parting with that one? Shalimar? any other that I can drool over? ... you know, you all are resembling pushers to me now. Get me hooked on a little inexpensive mainstream perfume, then sucker me in with a sample of the good stuff.

Psssst, lady, c'mere. You like that CK perfume? Here, try a little bit of this Guerlain, it's only $3, it's the good stuff. BAM You're hooked, they got you, and you're lookin for your next big score. Sigh. My name is beth, and I'm a perfume addict.

    Hi,

Today it's Infusion d'Iris by Prada for me.

It was also surprising how hard it was for me to get Après l'Ondée. I had to buy it during a business trip to Geneva, just the new stuff. It's so pretty, although I cannot tell in comparison with earlier releases. Another Guerlain is now in my wishlist: Vega. It seems to be even more elusive.

No perfume today, just enjoying the nostalgic scent of Pond's dry skin cream all over. Makes a nice body cream.

My mom used to wear this when I was a child and it still smells the same....
