Default Which vetiver was this? LORENZO VILLORESI'S VETIVER or VETYVER BY PARFUMS DE NICOLA¤ -

A while back I tried LORENZO VILLORESI'S VETIVER as well as VETYVER
BY PARFUMS DE NICOLA¤ - one of them had a balsam, fir, christmas tree smell. Any ideas which one?
Do you prefer one to the other?

To me, PdN's offering has definite cumin and pepper notes that are dominant. I don't think it is the one. I recollect Villoresi's as sharp, similar to the Etro Vetiver.

    I prefer the PdN Vetyver.

I don't recollect balsam fir in either. I did look at the posted notes and all the reviews in the directory and no one mentioned balsam for either. Not saying it isn't there; just no one else has called attention to it.

No fir notes that I recall in PdN Vetyver, but it is an absolutely stunning fragrance.

Mystery solved. It was Mazzolari by Mazzolari.
