    Default *gasp*

I recently tallied my expenses on fragrance this year. I wept.

Yeah, I did this recently too. That didn't make me cry. It's when i tallied up the list of ones I still plan to buy that I really felt bad.

So it seems you really spend a great amount!
Please tell us which fragrances you have bought.

I don't even dare tally my purchases up for the year. But at least I've realized that there is nothing else I'd rather spend my money on. LOL

For me it is when I think about the many other types of "upgrades" (non-fragrance) I can/should make that is slightly soul-stirring. Actually, fragrances is probably the LEAST important out of all these, but I just can't put it down.!

I got into niche this year - CREED GIT, VIW, Erolfa, Himalaya, SMW. Bond Hamptons, Wall Street, New Haarlem, Coney Island. There were two Hermes purchases TdH and Voyage d'Hermes. Is Hermes niche? Various designer frags as well. I have made a promise to myself to use some of these before I buy again. Yeah, I see that happening.

Oh don't be sad - enjoy and try not to think about it

I did pretty good so far this year, and especially since I got married. Just don't ask me about last year.

Life is short and uncertain. Buy the best frags first, then move into the second tier and so on..

I doubt you won`t cry if you knock down accidentaly your favorite and most expensive fragrance...

I'm a firm believer that a "so-what" attitude to certain, repeat, certain things is a great life enhancement. Gives a bit of brio to existence, you know. There's a part of my brain flashing caution about the amount I've spent on frags, but I treat it like a yellow light at an intersection (speed through!). Moderation in most things, excess in a choice few.
