There are other orange blossom scents and neroli scents, but I have not smelled any others that have the cumin and nutmeg notes.

I wanted to order a sample of this for my husband from Lucky Scent but it seems you could only purchase a bottle and not a sample.

That's too bad because it looks great. We are going to have to go and try it at Aedes first. I am getting spoiled by being able to order so many samples from the comfort of my home and then trying it out for a few days. It is very helpful in deciding what works and what doesn't.

Missy, My last Luckyscent order included a bottle purchase along with requested samples. At checkout I also requested complimentary samples of scents with no formal 'Sample' option on their pages, including Fleur d'Oranger, to which they obliged.

As for Lutens FdO analogues, try Le Labo's Fleur d'Oranger 27. White florals are a bit more pronounced.

    Missy,
Have you tried just emailing SL and requesting a sample? I received two samples by just asking, a few years ago.

I really liked this fragrance, but felt it was too feminine for me. My girlfriend, however, loved it. So, i'm looking for something similar for her to try. Unfortunately my college budget does not afford me the opportunity to indulge upon expensive frags.

Maybe Her by Narcisco Rodriguez is cheaper, then.

A seriously inexpensive orange blossom fragrance for her to try is Pacifica Nerola Orange Blossom:

Many of the Pacifica scents are sold at Sephora and Whole Foods.

Thanks Hide and Reason, that's a great suggestion. I am planning on ordering a bottle of another perfume that I love from them very soon and will try requesting a sample. Thanks!

That's a super idea 30 Roses! I didn't even think of that and that is something I would normally think of- thanks so much. I will let you guys know if it works out.
