Default Niche blind buys that you were happy with

    Hey folks,

Anyone blind buy a niche fragrance that was based on rave reviews that you were completely happy with? I'm a huge fan of gourmands and I took the gamble of buying Bond No 9 New Harrlem. I'm glad I did because it's amazing and serves its purpose...

Yes, By Man by Dolce & Gabbana.

Fantastic fragrance. And of course... they discontinued it. Doh!

If it counts TM - A travers le miroir...... Happened to found it for 75USD (everywhereelse but fragrancenet, at the time atleast, it was 150 or above).....though ofcourse had to pay customs fees taxes and all that so ended up being my most expensive bottle. Customs must've been a bit confused (they opened the package from the looks of it) a heavy wooden box with mirrors all around (which I could live without).......and a little bottle inside haha. Still.

I buy too many fragrances blind. However I think my stand out niche blind buys are Rose 31 and Lyric Man.

Not many niche blind buys, the best blind buys for me have been Tom of Finland and Blue Amber.
... And do me a favor - don't disturb my friend. He's dead tired.

well, I've had three blind buys:

Nassomato Duro: like but don't wear often. One of the few leather scents I enjoy

Menthe Fraiche: My most recent. Doesn't smell like toothpaste, but reminds me of pain relief pads and such. Like it but not sure if it was the best option.

The Different Company Bergamote: Absolutely love. Of course, the reviews were spot on with this one; too light and too flat.

Overall I enjoyed blind buying a lot, and will continue doing it.

I had samples, so I don't know if it is considered blind buy, but:

    - Creeds: Virgin Island Water, GIT, Milassime Imperial
Right now I think that I have all the fragrances that I want.

Probably one of the riskiest blind buys ever, but thankfully I love it.

Creed Vetiver (1948)...I was comforted by the fact that it was discontinued, and I knew I could get rid it at a profit if I wanted to. But I love it.

    Also, Divine L'Homme Sage.
