Default Remember when you were a kid...

Growing up, my father and my uncles all wore their own signature scents. You could smell them a mile away, with those powerful 80's scents. I tried using some of them, but they are pretty tough to pull of at my age (24)

Here's my list. Do you have any?

-Santos de Cartier (my fav, remember it being a lot sweeter in that old silver and brown bottle)
    -Obsession by CK
    -Chanel pour Monsieur Concentree.
-Stetson ( my dad's fav it was terrible)
    -Gucci Envy
    Creed- Windsor (All-time favorite)
    Creed- GIT (signature)
Lolita Lempica Au Masculin (fav gourmand)
    Creed-Aventus (biggest compliment getter)
    Serge Lutens- Arabie,Fumerie Turque, Chergui
    MFK-Lumiere Noire (fav mysterious scent)
    Santos de Cartier-Fav 80's
    Creed Spice & Wood

Thumbs up Re: Remember when you were a kid...

    Caron Pour un Homme
    Caron Poivre
    Caron Yatagan
    Emilio Pucci Signor Vivara
    Rochas Moustache
    Rochas Monsieur Rochas
    Robert Piguet Cravache
    Yardley English Lavender

And many others. My father was a perfume addicted
Have I told you about the scent of jasmine? Have I spoken about the smell of the sea? The earth is scented. And I perfume myself to enhance what I am. That's why I can not wear a perfume that bothers me. Perfuming is an instinctive wisdom. And like all art, it requires some knowledge of yourself..."

Here's a list of 80's powerhouses forever in my mind....

    Kouros YSL (of course!)
    Azzaro Pour Homme
    Polo by Ralph Lauren
    Antaeus Chanel
    Perry Ellis Original
    Chaps by Ralph Lauren
Paco Rabanne Pour Homme (not really a powerhouse, but very of this era)
JHL by Estee Lauder (a friend wore this)
Halston Z-14 (from the 70's, but reached it's zenith in the early 80's)
    Lagerfeld (now called "classic")
and the original "calvin" by Calvin Klein (ties with Kouros and Antaeus for strongest)

They may have been a little overpowering, but they were all fantastic!
