Default Help selecting perfume for wife

Ok. I am WAY behind for Christmas. . . I really like getting my 35yo wife a new perfume for Christmas... I'll go to Nordstroms (because I like their return policy), and spend a couple of hours driving the sales associate crazy looking for the perfect perfume. So far, I have done well, as my wife has really liked my picks. Her current favorites are: Crystalline by Bvlgari (probably her favorite), Innocent by Thierry Mugler (she likes that one too), and Euphoria by CK.
My rules are simple. I don't buy anything that is "the most popular" or something my neighbor wears. I know that I broke the rule when I bought Euphoria. I want my wife to have a unique scent that people will love, but most will have no idea what it is.
Case in point, a couple of years ago the sales girl tried to talk me into Light Blue by D&G. I am so glad I didn't buy it because not only did my neighbor wear it (she drenched it on), but I smell it quite a bit... I have never found anyone wearing the Crystalline or Innocent.
So, the situation for this year is that I don't have the luxury of going to the mall for several hours to go through all the scents before Christmas. I was really hoping someone could at least point me in the right direction, so my visit to the mall could be more of a focused effort. At this point, I don't know if I want to go more seductive and heavy, or more light and feel good for everyday wear. For me, the Innocent is pretty seductive... I love that one! Maybe more everyday...
What "hidden gems" do you guys know about?

Oh, and I can tell you that she doesn't like Angel by Thierry Mugler. . . never did buy that one, but she couldn't get in the shower fast enough to wash off the tester spray I brought home!

    Thanks, and Merry Christmas everyone!

You can get Songes by Annick Goutal at Nordstroms, it has notes of Frangipani,
Absolute of Ylang-Ylang, Absolute of Jasmine and Absolute of Vanilla. It's a very
romantic and beautiful scent and not one that "everybody" is wearing, it's been on
my wish list for a long time.

The Nordstrom here in DC doesn't have much "hidden gems", just the usual. As kiliwia was saying, Goutal seems the only nearly niche brand around. I've never seen Sables at my Nordstrom, but that's another one I would try (in addition to Songes).

Another not excessively common one I like is Iris Nobile by Acqua di Parma.

Thanks for the suggestions! I think I may try the Songes, but unfortunately it is not available locally. Nordstrom has it online, so I may buy it "sight unseen", knowing that I can return it if she doesn't like it.
My only question is if it is more of a mature lady fragrance, or if it will work for my 35yo mother of four wife.
Thanks again for the suggestions and comments!

Songes is definitely not an "old lady" type scent. It's very soft and romantic.

I am below 35 and I love Songes (I prefer the EDP to the EDT) so it's definitely not "too mature". It is not for everyone though, the jasmine in it is fairly indolic.
