I would ask the eBay seller first for photos of the bottom of the bottle and box, showing their serial numbers, before buying it.

I just bought both bottles, by the way.

    (Just kidding)

I say ask the seller to cut you a deal on both......and then buy them. It's a terrific rendition of Kouros.

Fraicheur is good but I prefer the original (even in its current, reformulated, version) or, even better, Kouros Eau de Sport.

In my opinion, Fraicheur is the "sportiest" version, kind of high pitched but not packing the same kind of punch while Eau de Sport is much more like the original but even more refined, just as powerful but less brute and more natural smelling.

It's an amazing scent. For me, it's kouros without the annoying part hahaha I like how the spices and the fougere aspect seems more in evidence, while the animalic and musk facets are on the background, just giving a touch. It's a shame that ysl discontinued it, it's a real winner.

    This worth the price rick?
You own kouros fraicheur, so maybe you know the current value of the frag.

Well, i was lucky to find it cheap at fragrancenet a time ago. Bought mine for 50 dollars 50ml. I think that the minis are not so expensive, and considering that the big bottles are expensive now, i think that they are with a fair price. Maybe they'll last you enough to discover if you want a full bottle, or until one cheaper pops up on ebay.

Kouros Fraîcheur is exactly as it reads. Kouros fresher. It's a fresher, soapier version of Kouros with a civet note still noticeable and a pineapple note that interacts with the civet for the first 10 minutes at the most to make it smell a little fecal, but not as overbearing as Mr. Kouros himself. The civet eventually wears away as the fragrance dries down and it's just nice and soapy with a great patchouli note as well. The first 5 minutes or so may be a bit stinky, but waiting just a bit more is worth it.

    "05 MAY 09: Kouros Fraicheur

Finally, the complete Kouros review is coming to an end. I recieved my bottle of Fraicheur a few days ago, and I have been rocking it relentlessly. You know, when I started this review, the point was NOT to unseat the original Kouros, but with Fraicheur, just like with Eau de Sport, the original must take a back seat. I wore the two back to back and the difference is glaring: Fraicheur is better than the original, no questions about it. Hard to tell the difference in the opening, but the genius soon shines thru. The original comes off harsh and too perfumey, whereas fraicheur has just the right dose of everything...except for that signature urinous note. It isn't totally absent, just hardly there at all. It is replaced with a sensuos aura with a green tinge, more like a whiff of the urinating device than the urine itself . Fraicheur was hard to find, but very well worth it. "

You'll enjoy it if you already like the basic structure of Kouros. It really is Kouros for the warmer months.

Fraicheur is very good. I got a bottle a couple of years ago. It's definitely a little fresher with the pineapple and it seems to remove some of the patchouli/clove of the original and replace it with vetiver. Still has a lot of balls.

Just got Kouros Eau de Sport last month and it's like the reviews say-- it's just a little softer and more natural smelling than the original Kouros. Really good on skin. Sometimes the original Kouros is a bit demanding on the nostrils-- this one is more easy going. Probably the best version of all.

The pineapple note that everyone comments doesn't show it's aroma on me, but i like how more balanced is Kouros Fraicheur. I don't know if i'd wear it on summer days, but i know that i prefer it much to the original one

I have a bottle of Kouros Fraicheur and I like it. It smells good and Kouros Cologne Sport is equally as good in my opinion. I like these both more than original Kouros or Kouros Eau de Sport or any other flankers. However, I am not a huge fan of the whole Kouros aesthetic so my opinion should not be taken too seriously.

Klopp. I received mine today from Daniel that gently sold me one flask and it is original in its own. It opens with a fruity note, a pineapple + apple note that weakens after some minutes, but gives later a sweeter effect if compared to the original Kouros. Imagine mixing the Kouros Tattoo edition + the original Kouros and some fruity note. KF is also some kind "rounder", less civetted than the original.
