Default Frederic Malle: Portrait of a lady

I was hoping for a great epiphany with Portrait of a lady. I had one. It smells like le Labo Rose 31. Does anyone else get that similarity between the 2 scents?

    Thanks for posting your views.

I tested both yesterday, and ended up buying Portrait. Rose 31 honestly smelled like BO on my skin.

I guess cumin doesn't like me.

I enjoy both but find Portrait to be way more complex than Rose 31 . Rose 31 is more woody Cumin with a dash of rose where as Portrait has the rose amped up more with the fruity top notes , its a lot denser , more rich

I don't personally find them very similar.

Sorry to hijack this thread a bit BUT does any one know of anything similar on the market to "Portrait of a Lady"?

Black Aoud doesn't really smell like Portrait of a Lady, but they are both big rose/oud scents.
