Default Can we create a "this vs that" sub-forum?

I'm sure I'm not the only one who is tired of this. Acqua di Gio vs Chrome. GIT vs Musc Ravageur, etc, etc. Sometimes the comparisons are somewhat reasonable because they are similar fragrances, but MOST of the time, people just want to compare two completely different fragrances, and want to know which one is "better," although we all know that the answer is always up to personal preference.

We many of these threads every day, and I would love to see a sub-forum where all of these would go...I know I'm not alone here.

LOL - yeah, I hear ya. Man. Every once in a while they're enlightening, but most of the time, they're the fragrance equivalent of "How 'bout them Steelers?" or "When's spring gonna get here?"

I say we start spicing 'em up.

While we're at it, let's also create a "What would [fictional character X / celebrity Y] wear" subforum.

In all seriousness, some sub-fora for these "perennial favorite" thread formulae would go a long way toward clearing the male fragrance discussion board of clutter.

We have one. It's called Just Starting Out. I'd love to see more threads get moved there.

I have an idea for a forum: one for sampling groups.

So far we only have a few groups going, but I hope to see more of this activity if it catches on.

Because I usually post the sign up and discussion threads for these sampling groups on the ladies forum, the guys don't see them; even when they sign up, they miss the updates. Also, the threads drop off the front page quickly and members of the sampling groups have a harder time locating the threads to update them with reviews.
