I didn't bother to get out of pajamas until late today. It's a weekend after all. So I wrote a reply to Force of One's thread about cooking class scents before I put on my SotD. I wrote he should try R&G's Extra Vieille.
That made me pick it when I was out of the shower. So here I am, all R&Ged up.
That girl, that bottle, that mattress and me.

Creativity is more than just being different. Anybody can plan weird; that's easy. What's hard is to be as simple as Bach. Making the simple, awesomely simple, that's creativity.
SotN: SL Daim Blond. Damn - so fine on a freezing cold night.
Habit Rouge EDT, by Guerlain.
Don't Smell the Flowers,
They're an Evil Drug to Make You Lose Your Mind --- Dio
West Broadway by Bond No.9
Iranzol by Bruno Acampora (from a sample)
I'm still trying to figure this one out, it's so rough and brash in texture. It smells ancient when you put it on, sort of like an oud but not animalic...just very resinous. Like you're applying some tribal ritualistic ointment or paste that was created from wild flowers, grasses and woods.
It's like nothing I've ever smelled before and for this, it continues to intrigue me.
Oh, and literally a 'drop' of this stuff, radiates fragrance. Very strong.
