Default Fujiyama Gentleman by Succès de Paris

    Fujiyama Gentleman
    by Succès de Paris

There is an existing thread about this fragrance at http://www.basenotes.net/threads/252...yama-gentleman in which Shifty Bat lists the notes as "Anise, vanilla, cinnamon, and soft, sweet woods. "

    A gourmand fragrance perhaps?
    (I've not smelled it myself.)

After wearing this again I noticed It's also a little soapy in the top in a way similar to Prada Amber Homme. So Its intent was probably to be yet another sweet lavender/violet scent, like the whole Le Male family, although it's got no powder to it. It's interesting, but the quality of ingredients is awful. And it's certainly not a gourmand.

I have this fragrance and it is not gourmand. It smells just like Joop Homme with out the zing (if that makes sense) that Joop Homme has. I bought it blilnd from Marshalls for $10. It is very strong and lasts 10+ hours. It is a decent buy if you like a fragrance like Joop. For me though it is a bit too strong and sweet and harsh.

I would not mind some more feedback from fellow B'Noters, if possible.

Has anyone tried Fujiyama "private number"? I tried Fujiyama gentleman and enjoyed it, my wife loves it! Out of all my frags, this is only one of four she has mentioned she loves. The others just "smell nice". I'd love to know what private number smells like, or at least the notes? I can't find and info on the scent at all online. Can someone help me?
