Default Paco Rabanne 1 Million, a hype?

What are your thoughts about Paco Rabanne 1 million. On me, it does not last, at least I cannot smell after couple of hours. Plus, the warmth of this fragrance is very similar to Le Male, besides the touch of occasional hint of rose.

I don't have the longevity problem you claim. It's an fine scent but not among my most cherished.

I get the same issue with 1 million, it doesn't last/project as long/much as what others claim. Nonetheless, it's still a scent that I very much enjoy.

On another note... you joined Basenotes in 1970?!?!

My account was inactive for a while, actually joined in 2002. Seems like a basenotes mixup.

Let's put it this way - I can see why people would like it, but I also see how it's not for me.

FWIW I think it certainly has above average longevity and projection which are two pluses in my book.

    Smells so cheap.

+1, monster projection and longevity on my skin but not for me. I got too much of a bubblegum type smell off of it, which I didn't like.

a more civilized alternative to 1Million, same scent, just toned down a bit, throw in some extra vanilla for a smoother drydown
