Default Creed:Imperial Millesime or Green Irish Tweed

I want to gift one of these two flavors in one thirty-year friend and I would like your suggestions.
I mention that he likes the quality amber, with sweet notes.., and it's a pretty athletic guy - if it helps..

GIT is the more "sporty" of the two, so that may be the better fit, since your friend is athletic. Both are actually very similar to my nose, only difference is GIT dries down to something more "floral", whilst MI retains more of a "spice" note. I personally prefer GIT.

I voted GIT, but I find MI blends in with my after workout smell of sweatiness and natural body scent very well. If he's going to use it for going out, dinner with dates, or everything else. GIT is probably more versatile.

I prefer MI but you really couldn't go wrong with either of these. Just make sure you get a legitimate bottle of the stuff. Lots of bad Creeds out there.

Green Irish Tweed by far. Millesime Imperial is by far the most overrated fragrance in the history of the world. I really see absolutely nothing special about it. It just smells ok. I honestly wouldnt be surprised if i smelled it blind and someone told me it was a hugo boss fragrance

Two of my favorites...I like the top notes of MI more and the base notes of GIT more... I would have to agree that GIT is more versatile.

I prefer MI but I think GIT is more versatile. I think MI is a great t-shirt and jeans scent.

Funny because I think Le Male is the most overrated fragrance.

I recently tried both of these. Ended up buying a bottle of GIT and thought the MI was only so-so.

    Same here.

I prefer MI but GIT may suit your friend's need.

Also, Le Mâle kind of makes me sick (terrible visions and olfactory memories of a friend who sprayed tons of it cause his girlfriend liked the smell lol),
while Amouage Reflection Man makes me wonder sometimes why I hate Le Mâle so much lol

I prefere Millesime Imperial in summer (and late spring), but Green Irish Tweed in autumn, winter and spring. In this case I voted for Green Irish Tweed.
Please check out my selling list:

If that friend doesn't have a trained nose, I vote for Cool Water.
I wouldn't spend 140 euro on a bottle that does almost the same as a 30 euro one...
Most non-basenoters wouldn't notice you wear Cool Water instead of GIT with a day in between.
Don't get me wrong: GIT is a great fragrance though...
