Default I just smelt the most amazing sillage!

Moments after opening my bedroom door, I was hit in the head with a beautiful, complex aroma! My brother always sprays his sotD before he heads off to work; but today I encountered a recently spritzed, fresh (as in new) sillage. It was extremely diffusive; I could smell it all the way to the garage and even now, it is still lingering in the air. I like the scent, but there was always something in it that bugged me. I think that's about to change!

Care to venture a guess folks!

Hint #1: It's part of my wardrobe (my mother bought it) and I haven't worn it
    Hint #2: It's a very complex, ever-changing scent
Hint #3: It is at once warm, spicy and woody

I was going to guess Vintage Rochas-Femme but I see there is a 'Trash' symbol next to it in your wardrobe. What does that mean?

No kumquat, it's not vintage Femme but thanks for participating in the game And I have no idea when and why that trash symbol appeared ((confused))

Should I just go ahead and say it; 188 views and 1 reply indicates people aren't game LOL!

I would guess either Onda by Vero Profomo or Saffron/Amber/Agarwood/Cardamom by Korres. Neither show a rating or number of times worn.

    I looked 167 times.

Actually, I think people are just a little daunted by your wardrobe!

I assume it's a feminine, hence your posting here.
    Is it Nu?

Hahahahahaha! It is a bit daunting isn't it?! LOL

It's not any of the suggestions posted above but good guesses everyone!

I'll just go ahead and say it then It was Eau Lente! The whole house was filled with the intoxicating aroma of spices and warm opoponax. I have gotta wear more of this...and by more I mean 2-3 times a year LOL!

Oh!!! I was going to participate, but glad to hear it was Eau Lente, as it's on my unofficial sampling list (the opoponax always gets me... sooo delicious).... I need to buy me some samples...

For such a sillage from dyptique, this must be the 15-spray Arabian school of perfume wearing. (nothing wrong with that of course)

Baldufita: Ooops! I revealed it a bit too early, didn't I? LOL You have to love heavy, intense spices to love Eau Lente. Even if you don't and suffer through the first hour, you will get rewarded by an opoponax base that kicks Shalimar's ass! Gorgeous!
cacio and hedonist222: Hahahaha! 15 is being conservative in our household LOL!
sophi: I already mentioned it was Eau Lente, but you got me craving Cruel Intentions now LOL! Another one I neglect!

    Eau Lente? Really?!

I've got to try it. Funny, but I just don't associate "sillage" with "Dyptique".

    Good to know.
