On a serious note I wouldn't drop a dime for celeb frags, most designer aquatics or bond #9 frags.

Bond No 9 for their business practices recently discussed here at length. I never got to sample them and I don't even open any of the threads on the forum. I try to keep an open mind with everything else--even LVMH!

I've tested enough of Creed to not be interested anymore but I'm not a hater. I generally don't read any of the threads.

Other than that, I may sniff celebrity scents but I won't buy them because they're just marketting hypes and mostly second rate productions that end up smelling very synthetic on my skin.

Basically, if I see a lot of gimmicks, it turns me off.

I'd buy a Kate Bush celebrity scent in a second.

Bond No. 9 & Tom Ford.

Never bothered with 'celebs' but I quite like the Tilda Swinton one, 'I Like This', so now I'm deeply conflicted.

    So did Hugo Boss. LOL.

Anyway, I usually avoid fragrances named after car manufacturers/models. Hummer, Corvette, Porsche, Jaguar, Ferrari, etc. I don't avoid ALL celebrity scents, I at least give them a sniff (or wear if I'm adventurous) before I totally write them off. For the most part, a lot of them are pretty bad and cheap smelling without much thought into composition. Every celebrity scent I've sniffed was just a mash up of their favorite designer scents into one bottle. It's just a non-cohesive olfactory mess.

I don't think he meant it as an insult to all us Americans. BTW, that wouldn't be a "potentially racist" comment, but a potentially "Nationalist" comment. Americans consist of all races.
I agree with you on these points and IŽm sorry - it wasnŽt fair. I apologise.

There are two celeb scents I feel are really worthy of attention.........one is Pavarotti for Men, (in my view very underrated), and the other is Gabriela Sabatini, (her very first womens fragrance) - a fantastic cherry pipe-tobacco fragrance, easily wearable for a man - also underrated.

That was just stupidity, I say controlled greed is good if done right. I would much rather live in a capitalist society than not, the econ crisis is still relevant today I would argue but I feel we are slowly getting better. Greed is good but being stupid with greed ( which is very easy to do) is another question. But I digress. I personally am greedy for learning and of course more fragrances.

    I may be shallow, but:
Bond No. 9 - because of the ridiculous bottles
B Never Too Busy To Be Beautiful - because of the ridiculous name
