    Default Masculine Daily Wear Suggestions

I'm looking for something I can wear every day but here is the criteria:

    - longevity and projection
    - masculine
    - not too much sweetness (ambery/benzoin)
    - versatile but leaning more towards casual
    - non-synthetic smelling
    - not sharp/astringent, so that it smells good up close
    - non-aquatic
    - non-gourmand
    - budget of around $50 or less for 3.4oz or 4.2oz bottle

Here are some I'm considering (wide variety)
    - Caron Un Pour Homme
    - Paco Rabanne (current formulation any good?)
    - Giorgio Beverly Hills
    - Guerlain Vetiver
    - Rive Gauche (although shaving cream smell isn't a favorite of mine)
    - Montana (still being produced the same formula?)
    - Tabac Original
    - Polo Modern Reserve
    - Devin by Aramis

I know there must many more. Open to suggestions (from my list or not). My current daily wears are Tommy Bahama and Azzaro PH, just to get an idea of what I like.

Caron Pour Un Homme is great and moderately sweet. Guerlain Vetiver perfectly fits your bill as well as Rive Gauche and Devin.

I suggest Cartier Roadster or Boss Bottled. From your list, Guerlain Vetiver.

That was my first thought also - but I do not think it falls into his price point.

Apart from the aforementioned, Polo Green is also worth considering

Yes to Caron puh, and I would include also their Troisieme homme. Yes also to Guerlain vetiver; and Paco Rabanne is still good, as is Halston Z14.

I am also a proponent of Anais Anais, but I know it doesn't feel masculine to many.

If you're looking for a green scent less dated than Paco Rabanne and more lively than Polo Modern Reserve, I'd recommend 1903 by J. Peterman, a masculine blend of fresh green, tobacco, leather and frankincense.

On a different note, considering your current favorites, Aramis Tuscany might be a comfortable fit.

Caron puH might be too sweet, as it has pretty loud ethyl vanillin.
