    Default CdG- Wonderwood

Tried this out in the store today, i really like it so i bought it online. I cant wait to give it a full wearing. I love Red Vetiver and see a smell a little similarity but enough to buy it. Anyone else got this scent?

I was so looking forward to it, but ended up being quite underwhelmed by it.

I love it too Daz... I see youre a fellow Aussie Basenoter. You probably did well ordering it online, though Mecca Cosmetica stock a lot of Comme des Garcons here down under (Wonderwood included).
Is that where you tried it?

I'm really happy you liked it but I must admit after testing it I share petruccijc's feeling. At least we have Mecca though, we're not exactly overwhelmed with access to niche here!

I bought it immediately. It's an intense woody/vetiver perfume.
I love it. I'm not sure why it wasn't a huge hit.
Maybe people need to apply a bit more?
I have a couple of sealed spray samples that I'm willing to share with anyone who doesn't have access to it.

What did you not like about it petru?

Tested Wonderwood last week and loved it. It was only on paper though.
Much better then the DSQuared's I've tried a few months ago.
The only problem I had was that it's a round fragrance and I prefer layered fragrances that keep evolving.
    Great stuff though...
Will give it another try on skin this autumn.
Just started a bottle of Zino and a Fahrenheit, so my woodsy needs are fullfilled at the moment.

No. Don't do this. This stuff will fill a room if you give it half a chance, and it's tenacious.

I wore it again yesterday from a sample, and I'm with the underwhelmed crowd. Comme des Garçons seems to be stuck in a tongue and groove. Their fascination with wood began with the Incense Series in 2002, followed by Hinoki, Dover Street, Artek and now Wonderwood. I don't get it.
