CoSTUME NATIONAL HOMME
Have I told you about the scent of jasmine? Have I spoken about the smell of the sea? The earth is scented. And I perfume myself to enhance what I am. That's why I can not wear a perfume that bothers me. Perfuming is an instinctive wisdom. And like all art, it requires some knowledge of yourself..."

Annick Goutal Ambre Fetiche. It is a cool day here and there is even a chance of snow. It is the right fragrance for me for today. Very satisfying.

It is a Black Aoud by Montale day...I love this stuff.

1) Sel de Vetiver by The Different Company
2) Spiritueuse Double Vanille by Guerlain
3) Bois des Iles by Chanel
4) Devin by Aramis
5) Coromandel by Chanel
Tom Ford Azure Lime
Liked it enough to buy it, but cannot pretend that it doesn't smell like a less overpowering version of a home freshener I'd used at some point of time. What matters is that they don't (I think) make a less overpowering room freshener, so I do not regret buying this bottle (to wear of course, not freshen the rooms). Was planning to wear something light and subtle, and almost went for Bvlgari Pour Homme, but procrastinated on deciding and ended up with this.
THE DIFFERENT COMPANY
Guerlain Arsène Lupin Dandy edp
Top notes: bergamot, bitter orange
Heart: pink pepper, cardamom, violet
Base notes: sandalwood, patchouli, olibanum
Osmanthus by The Different Company
I would call this Rose Poivree's younger cousin. Light, playful, soapy and not a hint of sweetness in amongst all of the flowers. I would like those lovely peachy top notes to linger longer, but then again it might not be the same fragrance if it did. Ellena does osmanthus so well, doesn't he?
