    Default Solo Loewe Absoluto

Tried this one today. Original Solo has an incense drydown that differs a lot from the citrusy spicy opening. The novelty is more linear (and despite the name it's not intenser): it starts similarly, but then doesn't get a woody incense accord. For me Solo Absoluto is an improved version: maybe less original, but more complex.

To me it is more spicy citrusy, without so much of those woodsy notes.

Sillage is great as for the original version
Longevity is average - on the other hand I have Allure Homme and it stays much longer.

So it's basically a more complex solo loewe? Have they changed more the opening or more the drydrown?

Original Solo is one of my favourites(top 3), and I tried this at Las Palmas airport on my way back to the UK. I have to say that it was superb, a little "sweeter" than the original, if I may use that description, and in my opinion, more woody(perhaps a hint of Xeryus). Loewe have a relatively limited range of EDT's for men, compared to many other houses, and I have tried most of them, all very good. I predict success for this one too.
By the way, in Las Palmas I also discovered how Loewe is pronounced...........lo'ay'vay.

I had to have this , being an avid fan of original Solo, and I have just received my (124ml) bottle. What can I say? this is an "absoluto-ly" stunning fragrance(pardon the pun- play on words). Original Solo is a stunning fragrance, and I have to admit that I thought that it could not be improved on, but how wrong I was. Guys, you simply MUST try this. I will not attempt to describe it, (OK if you are pinning me down, see above post) but believe me, it is THAT good.
Those who are familiar with Loewe Solo bottles will know that the original has a black metal insert and cap, and that Solo Intense has a silver insert and cap. This bottle has a polished GOLD insert and cap, and is visually extremely attractive. Oh, and by the way, the fragrance last for hours, and hours, and hours!

I'm thinking about purchasing this one with my next order ( Blind).. becaus of all the positive reviews, however does anyone know what it is similar to to get an idea, and which out of all the Solo Loewe, is the best?

    Thanks

I find it very similar to the original Solo Loewe, if anything, a little bit more smoky.
About the rest of Solo Loewe saga (intense and pop) , they are just fruity/citrusy flankers with few in common to the original Solo Loewe.
