Default Recent Erolfa batches, how is this fragrance?

Currently have GIT and Aventus from the Creed house. I remember sniffing Erolfa on a paper strip. Smelled pretty great! But after reading reviews, I hesitate to blind buy it. Seems like it goes from citrus/fresh (which I love) to a salty ambergris.

Not sure if it's too redundant, given that I own GIT and Aventus.

    Still worth getting IMO.

I don`t think it`s much citrus in Erolfa. IMO It`s more herbal/fresh. It`s a very autentic marine scent. It`s one of my favourite Creeds, and the bottle I own is quite new. It`s like a fresh, warm, salty sea breeze. I love the sea, and I love Erolfa! I think it has been reformulated. I had a old bottle once, and it was much more "dirty" and sour. The new Erolfa has fresher, brighter top notes. The base is the same. -A classy marine scent!

I have the new style bottle and I think the formula has been tweaked for the better. It's fresher and brighter. Some older bottles actually smelled a little like pepperoni pizza they were so salty! No kidding.

Very nice Summer office scent. I think it's very different from anything else, Creed house or otherwise.

Thanks. Hows the newer batches' longevity? I understand it belongs to a class of fragrances which have a bad rep in longevity/projection.

    I see 1-3 hours terrible,4-5 decent, 6-8 good, 8-10 great, 10+ amazing.

Where would Erolfa fall in your experience (during warm weather)?

Good presence, not much projection. Still detectable after 8 hours, but very little "aura" at that point. It's a 3-feet radius scent all the way. You'll smell it, and those very close to you will.

I have had Erolfa, GIT and Aventus. Erolfa is much different that the other 2. Very nice enjoyable scent. It is worth getting.

    1) Sel de Vetiver by The Different Company
    2) Spiritueuse Double Vanille by Guerlain
    3) Bois des Iles by Chanel
    4) Devin by Aramis
    5) Coromandel by Chanel

I can smell Erolfa on my skin the whole day. Projection is average. I also use the showergel. It helps! Unfortunately it`s now discontinued, but you can still get it at fragrancenet.com for a fair price.

Has Erolfa been discontinued or just the showergel?

Thanks for clearing that up. I would have been surprised if they had continued that one too as it's some kind of bestseller as I understand it.
