Default Green, garden like frags for spring/summer...or, well, all year around...

I'm looking for green, garden-y frags in the same vein of L'Ombre dans L'Eau... you know, green, natural, kinda flowery, kinda earthy, garden-like smells.

    Which one would you suggest?
No Chanel nº19 as I already have it (thanks to all those basenoters that commented about it) and no Eau de Campagne, please!

    Thanks in advance friends!

As I just mentioned in another forum, Temps d'une fete by PdN is very green floral (though more floral than ombre dans l'eau). Not as good as this, but lighter and greener, Stephanotis by Floris (I got a cheap tester by chance).

I've read different takes on Le Temps d'une Fete describing it as "too feminine" and "unisex" at the same time. I can get it quite cheap (30ml) at De Nicolai' site. Maybe i can afford to blind buy.

Anyone on Ofresia or Un Jardin Clos?

Thanks petruccijc, but Hermés distribution in Spain is bad and getting worse. Some SAs at some of the biggest stores around here have told me about Hermes not coming back to their stands Small perfume and make up shops only carry Terre, some Jardins,... few things from this house.

I don't think i will be able to try Sur le Toit soon. Maybe in a couple of months...

Petruccijc, have you put your nose on it yet?

Haven't seen Calyx around i've read quite a few good reviews on it. I wish i could find it.
Un Jardin Clos may be easy to find here. I tried some days ago ofresia, but it was only a couple of light sprays and i could smell little of it with the air of Sevilla full of Incense (Easter is her). Don't know why CDG hasn't made a Sevilla themed frag for its incense series.

Papyrus de Ciane from PG - the greenest green. A bit soapy, no flowers.
Ninfeo Mio (Goutal) - first chemical lemon then sugared lemon and green leaves

I have not seen it yet. But will try it when it becomes available - although I have not personally been a big fan of the other Jardin scents.

Give a try to Fico di Amalfi, the Blu Mediterrane/Acqua di Parma line, or perhaps the Cipresso one.
+1 on Ninfeo Mio Goutal, and perhaps Eau du Sud
À l'air libre les oiseaux ont eux aussi le vertige (camille)

If you ever do: 31 Rue De Cambon is a lush green fragrance that stole my heart a little while ago.

Horizon by Guy Laroche: while discontinued, still available on numerous online discounter fragrance sites

rich with herbal and mossy notes, yet also very discreet, smooth and timelessly elegant enough to be worn over the whole year and with almost any attire

Iris Silver Mist has a cool earthy quality.

Un Jardin sur le Nil and Sous le Vent both have green qualities to me, although not earthy. Sous le Vent is a chypre which has bergamot and herbs from which I get the green sense.

Maybe Fleur de Carotte although it has been a long time since I smelled it.

    Green, garden-like scents?

    1. Sisley Eau De Campagne - literally smells of the most natural grassy/wildflower meadow and citrus/herb garden on a sunny day, with freshly cut lawns on the garden's periphery....

    2. Creed Green Valley - a mint and spice garden, surrounded by a grassy meadow with blooming patchouli throughout, and even a bit of blooming lavender and honeysuckle.

    3. Creed Original Vativer - A citrus and spice grove/garden surrounded by a freshly cut golf course.

    4. Angleiques Sous La Pluie - A clean wildflower patch surrounded by evergreens.

Thanks Ken, I'm a happy Horizon user. It's a bit harsh at the beginning but it has quality. For me, it's not garden-like, but it's a very good fragrance.
I can find it cheap around here too!
