R de Capucci today.
Yves Saint Laurent Champagne (vintage/original formula EdT layered with parfum)
A fantastic chypre in its original form, Champagne hides a dash of subtle cumin underneath it's peachy topnotes, giving the composition a slight animalic edge. Today's "Yvresse" is basically a different fragrance, a light peachy fruit/floral.

First one of the day: a little splash of Pinaud Virgin Island Bay Rum
SotD: a succession of citruses - Creed Citrus Bigarrade, Dior Homme Sport (swiped a big sample spray while shopping at Sephora), Chanel Allure Homme Edition Blanche, Creed Zeste Mandarin Pamplemousse. I've had this citrus binge coming on for quite some time now. Very nice, perfect for today's summery weather.
Penhaligon's English Fern--the best of the classic ferns.

Oh, why the hell not. Creed Vintage Tabarome tonight.

First truly hot day in Mississippi this year, so I wore a really under regarded scent. I'm home from my gig after midnight and I can still smell the 3 sprays of:
1. Montale Wild Aoud
2. Amouage Jubilation XXV
3. Montale Red Vetyver
4. Montale Aoud Lime
5. Le Labo Vetiver 46
Creativity is more than just being different. Anybody can plan weird; that's easy. What's hard is to be as simple as Bach. Making the simple, awesomely simple, that's creativity.
