Default Best Print Ads of All Time - Eau Sauvage?

Most fragrance print ads consist of a photo of an attractive person and a bottle of the scent. In a word they are predictable. And boring. And interchangeable.

The first ad campaign for Christian Dior's Eau Sauvage shattered that mold. These ads communicate slice of life moments with humor and artistry. They were created by Rene Gruau in 1967 and they're still brilliant.

Are they the best fragrance print ads of all time? I think so. What ads do you nominate?

    They are very tasteful IMO.

I really like this Kouros ad. It (accurately) portrays the fragrance as a larger than life work of art, rather than the "wear this, get laid" nonsense that most perfume ads go for.

I liked those, they are striking and have a Mad Men vibe. Thanks for posting.
