Default Baldessarini Strictly Private, worth it?

    I LOVE anything Baldessarini.

The original Hugo Boss Baldessarini was one of my first loves, Baldessarini Ambre is something I wore on my wedding day (I know, I know, people think its boring and for such a special day I could have been more adventurous, but my missus loves this one and it was a winter wedding), and have liked other ones Ive tried like the special edition Del Mar Mediterranean one.

What do people think of Strictly Private. The reviews looked ok, but whats its main use? Is it an office, a dinner, a special occasion, or a multi-use scent. Where does it fit on their spectrum?

Anyone have comments positive or negative?

    Thanks,

I love Strictly Private, a slightly sweet amber tobacco crme brle scent with solid sillage and longevity.

    Thanks mate.

Don't think I can justify another suave evening one as I just splurged on Tom Ford Extreme and Aramis 900, so haven't really a spot for this one and its not cheap either.

May move to this later in the day.

Sounds good though, creme brulee, this sounds like a proper evening at a topclass restaurant type of deal!!

IMO not worth it. There's much better out there.

I think Ambre was an awesome choice for your wedding! I love the stuff. It's inexpensive, yet so sophisticated. It's different too, not entirely, but for what's in its league, it stands out for sure. Can't wear it all the time though, it's a formal scent to me.

I have not tried Strictly Private, nor have I heard much about it. I did try the original which has more tobacco, a little synthetic.. more along the lines of the other Hugo Boss frags, but it still was adequate. One of the flankers though (blue juice) did not impress me at all. So I kind of lost faith in the brand.

    Thanks man.

Yeah the blue juice one was Del Mar, I didnt take to it at all, just smelled cheap and synthetic. THe yellow/green juice one, the Mediterranean one, was better, but Ambre does seem better quality.

Might get a decant of this and see if its worth it.
