    Thanks, all!

Yes, I installed and wired the LEDs myself, but they are just a $30 kit from IKEA:
    http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/20119418/

In fact, the whole cabinet is made from parts from IKEA, except for the mirrored back panel, which I had custom-cut from a local industrial plastics supply house (it's acrylic). You could also use glass, but it would be a lot heavier and a lot less safe.

Newbie here, all of these fragrances were obtained since last month (with exception of Drakkar Noir).

The jar (that the roll ons are on top of) has samples or w/e of various houses (Hermes, Creed, etc.).

I've finally plucked up the courage to post a picture of my beginner collection. I've trimmed the fat recently - and haven't included my hundreds of samples. I'm hoping to build my collection back up and love them all just as much as these ones

Thanks It's practically been chopped down the middle in these last few months. There's still a couple I'd rather have swapped but I can't cut down too much - time to start building again now

Yup! I wanna build it back up though. There's still even a couple in there I'll never wear - two of the Smell Bent's for example - I don't want to part with Saddle Warmer though becuase I truly believe it's the most repulsive fragrance I've smelt and It makes me laugh every time I sniff it.
I've got hundreds of samples and what-not so look forward to adding a decent amount of true gems to those I already love.

Nice to see Joanna Newsom holding court over the collection!

    - - - Updated - - -

Hereís the latest update. Iím desperately trying to avoid building up a big collection that Iíll never get around to using in a lifetimeÖ although thatís a lot harder than it sounds as a lot of people here have found - impressive though they are. Iím just not into the idea of stacking perfumes in fridges or in big cabinets and cupboards.

Anyway, new this year are BN favourites, LIDGE, Black Orchid and my own favourite new purchase, the very vibrant Piment Brulant which doesnít seem overly favoured here but I reckon is a total stunner - and it doesnít quite smell like anything Iíve come across before and certainly nothing in my collection. Iíd urge everyone to try it. I also couldnít resist Boss Bottled on special offer. Itís omnipresent but itís also an extraordinarily well composed and likeable fragrance. Iím generally favouring lighter scents rather than smoky wood things these days it seems.

Getting a bit bored with and wonít replace, MKK, Terre de Hermes, Kiehlís Musk and Shalimar Ė although this could take some time as itís always the ones youíre least fond of that hang around the longest. Unfortunately the recently discontinued CDG Skai no longer agrees with me anymore and can sometimes give me a headache, so I might sell that on or give it to a friend.

Bought second bottles of the cheap and cheerful Body Shop White Musk and Caron pour un Homme (probably the one fragrance here I couldnít do without). Will be buying more of the miraculous Fahrenheit at some stage too. Iím still trying to operate a one in/one out policy.

Oud 27 is proving especially enjoyable in hot weather, surprisingly. Shame it has rained almost constantly here in the UK since April.

Very fond of the ridiculously cheap Dehnal synthetic oud oil which smells a billion times more sophisticated than Spicebomb, IMO.

If youíre wondering about the unmarked bottle at the front thatís one of my own homemade efforts Ė a sort of vanilla and Marigold Tagetes mix that definitely doesnít smell like anything else at all. Making your own perfume is difficult to say the least and this is the only one Iíve liked since I started over a year ago.

    Good grief, that's dedication! Amazing.

I absolutely love ' Have one on me'. Played it nearly every day since I bought it. Incredible lyrics superb melodies and fantastic singing. Unlike anything else. Saw her two years ago at the Festival Hall. It was an amazing show. For those who have never heard her before:

Aw yay thanks. Well, I'm not like a stupidly obsessed fan - but I think Ys is the most perfectly composed album start to finish I've ever listened to - every track is a complete artwork. I can't wait for it to be finished - I'll send a picture to her hahaha.
It's lovely to hear from someone else who enjoys her music.

I saw her too here in Birmingham a couple years back (the Have One On Me tour) - outstanding.

    Sorry to hijack the thread:

On a more relavant note - superb collection oboltus - hideously envious of all those bell jars.

starshipvelcro, I must confess that I use it as a practical joke with my friends LOL. I have sent it to some of them pretending it was something else, so I could see their real reaction to it. I bought it and MKK blind to have a bit of fun (I should have bought samples before LMAO). Obviously I ended up hating SM, but I really like MKK.
Lutes bell jars are really beautiful!

Great collection yuyu15! I would love to display my 'collection' this way but I'm afraid the exposure to light will have an effect on the fragrances. They're not directly exposed to sunlight but some daylight seeps through the curtains into the room and I'm also wondering what impact artificial light will have on it. But hey, maybe I'm worrying too much...

Sorry for the bad picture quality. Can't for the life of me figure out where my real camera is ... this is my phone. Had higher hopes for it - but hey, that's what it is. I'll upload a better one when I get my camera up and running again.

Anyhow - IKEA all the way, with mirror behind and beneath. Pretty happy with the setup, even though it can't hold many more bottles (well it can, but meh).
