Great colletion and nice presentation alfarom!!! =)
This thread is fun! I have a fairly intense compulsion to use perfumes all up so my "collection" is largely transient... there are many that I love but will not replace once gone. (But I also have a dusty box of empty bottles in a cabinet somewhere, because I can't seem to throw them away. What's up with that?)
Missing from this shot is a tiny 20-year-old bottle of Chloe Narcisse, which I hate but can't make myself get rid of. Pardon the dust and the bad cellphone pic!

I guess the big question would be "Are those mini-butt cheeks on a stick?" You know that thing in front of the pictures?
Hope this works, took bloody ages to upload!![]()

Very cool - thanks for posting the posting these!![]()
You're very welcome!
There's something very Escher like about that Knize Ten group shot - the neverending staircase paradigm thing they played with in Inception. Maybe it's trying to tell me something. Nice to see all the new stuff being posted.
@yiyi4real: thanks! oh how time flies by so quick!

Here is my collection. I am in treatment for my OCD and I am a little odd so it's not real diverse in branding. The only thing not pictured here is a bottle of Amouage Gold man that I have in transit. Once I have that I will be able to smell like a pretty lady.

Thanks Volley, when should we expect an update on your collection?
Don't tell me you're planning to get rid of all those LutensLOL...Thanks Hedonist.
They're hypnotizing, they have special powers! As I tried to put them back in their boxes I found myself in a loop. The more I got closer to grab them, the more they got deeper into another dimension...it was like being in a sort of space-time distortion in which the room twisted on itself while the bottles were sinked into a black hole...weird

"Like a lobster with a pearl in its claw, the beet held the jasmine firmly without crushing or obscuring it. Beet lifted jasmine, the way a bullnecked partner lifts a ballerina, and the pair came on stage on citron's fluty cue. As if jasmine were a collection of beautiful paintings, beet hung it in the galleries of the nose, insured it against fire or theft, threw a party to celebrate it. Citron mailed the invitations." Jitterbug Perfume by Tom Robbins p. 189
What I am loving right now: Shalimar vintage extrait, Chanel Bois des Iles, Chanel no. 22, Le Labo Iris 39, Guerlain Iris Ganache
Thank you for the kind words guys.
You have made me want to add some Lolita Lempicka to my nightstand, the reviews are great and the bottles are adorable! The only problem is that I can't decide which one... they all sound great and I kind of want them ALL! The Coral sounds especially yummy, to my tastes.
Oh and... my middle name is Dolores and I often go by it, so Lolita (as a diminutive of Dolores, and NO my last name is not Haze!) is cute and familiar for me.
Oooh, thank you for the recommendations! It's always so hard to decide online, and I hate going out to perfume counters... so overwhelming, and it's impossible to decide on a single trip before smelling anything on the skin for a full day, so it always takes two.
And sure, you may call my Dolly... funny, I've gotten Lola, Lo, and Lolita, but never Dolly before!I like it!
Hmm, I wonder when hednic is going to post his collection.
(Would anybody be so kind to point me to it if I missed it)
Ugh...can't get the pic to post...stupid me! :-/

Most of the time I am very proud of the Basenotes community. Time after time I have witnessed the thoughtfulness, empathy & genuine friendship that members of this community extend to others - oldtimers & newcomers alike. There are other times, however, when egos get the upper hand and civility goes out the window. My philosophy is that I won't say anything here that I would not say if you were standing in front of me. Welcome to Basenotes, each and every one of us. ~ TwoRoads
