Ok, what is the bottle that I've been seeing in the last few pictures. It's the round bottle, has a silver cap. In the picture above me it's in the middle of the picture in front of la nuit and hypnose. And 2 pictures above it's between Fahrenheit and La Nuit.

Looks like "Midnight in Paris" by Van Cleef & Arpels - I like the design too!

@Daniel- The "after" looks lovely! How are you going to use anything without messing it up, though?? or is this meant to be a long term storage box you rarely access???

I was gifted an old jewelry armoire by a childhood friend...
here's the inside which consists of five drawers, the smaller ones have compartments which are great for organizing samples and minis, the larger, deeper ones are nice for full bottles and larger decants:

"Like a lobster with a pearl in its claw, the beet held the jasmine firmly without crushing or obscuring it. Beet lifted jasmine, the way a bullnecked partner lifts a ballerina, and the pair came on stage on citron's fluty cue. As if jasmine were a collection of beautiful paintings, beet hung it in the galleries of the nose, insured it against fire or theft, threw a party to celebrate it. Citron mailed the invitations." Jitterbug Perfume by Tom Robbins p. 189

What I am loving right now: Shalimar vintage extrait, Chanel Bois des Iles, Chanel no. 22, Le Labo Iris 39, Guerlain Iris Ganache

after looking at daniel's beautifully organized sample box, let me share something I adopted from another basenoter - I took a long narrow necklace box and filled it two thirds of the way with colored sand. this provided a base to vertically insert sample vials which are nicely supported by the material the vertical placement allows easy access to each vial without disturbing the ones adjacent. when I was given the armoire, the sample box fits into one of the top drawers.

This thread is fun! I have a fairly intense compulsion to use perfumes all up so my "collection" is largely transient... there are many that I love but will not replace once gone. (But I also have a dusty box of empty bottles in a cabinet somewhere, because I can't seem to throw them away. What's up with that?)

Missing from this shot is a tiny 20-year-old bottle of Chloe Narcisse, which I hate but can't make myself get rid of. Pardon the dust and the bad cellphone pic!

Here is my collection. I am in treatment for my OCD and I am a little odd so it's not real diverse in branding. The only thing not pictured here is a bottle of Amouage Gold man that I have in transit. Once I have that I will be able to smell like a pretty lady.

They're hypnotizing, they have special powers! As I tried to put them back in their boxes I found myself in a loop. The more I got closer to grab them, the more they got deeper into another dimension...it was like being in a sort of space-time distortion in which the room twisted on itself while the bottles were sinked into a black hole...weird

You have made me want to add some Lolita Lempicka to my nightstand, the reviews are great and the bottles are adorable! The only problem is that I can't decide which one... they all sound great and I kind of want them ALL! The Coral sounds especially yummy, to my tastes.

I need to add coral flower to my collection! Avoid eau de desir and fleur defendue, they're just weak flankers. You can't go wrong with the original LL and L, they are my must haves. If you buy them you'll be cooing over the bottles for weeks!

Oooh, thank you for the recommendations! It's always so hard to decide online, and I hate going out to perfume counters... so overwhelming, and it's impossible to decide on a single trip before smelling anything on the skin for a full day, so it always takes two.

And sure, you may call my Dolly... funny, I've gotten Lola, Lo, and Lolita, but never Dolly before! I like it!
