Default Grey Vetiver, Coco, Bergdorf NY and Moscow Duty Free

Quickly wanted to share some experiences.

I have been looking to get a bottle of Chanel Coco edp for my mother, and was in NY and picked up the bottle from Bergdorf Goodman. However, wasn't too impressed with the store. Pushy salespeople, reluctance to give samples with purchase and the place is really packed without much room to move about. Would never go there again. Claimed that they have more Chanel fragrances than Chanel itself, but as you'd guess didn't have Allure Homme Edition Blanche.

The JFK duty free at terminal 1 was such a let down. Hardly anything at all.

On the contrary, a most pleasant shopping experience at the Moscow duty free (terminals E, F) from where I'm writing now. Just picked up a bottle of Grey Vetiver edp at a very good price (75 euros). Most polite staff and let you browse freely, yet always available to help when needed. Really impressed with their selection too- apart from the usual stuff they have Amouage, Byredo, Armani Prive, Tom Ford private blends, Montale, Serge Lutens (limited), Zegna exclusives... to name a few. They also have Fahrenheit Parfum, Allure Homme edition blanche and LIDGE. However, they do not have Dior Homme Parfum.

Im glad you had a better experience after all. Sounds like they have amazing frags. Be sure to try other terminals to see if thwy carry any other ones.

Often fly to Moscow, they really try keep their airports fragrance stores a notch up. Many great lines are present with acceptable prices.

Bergdorf can be a little intimidating at times.
