Dior Homme Intense all the way
I have searched for various Dior Homme and Dior Homme Intense threads on the forum.
The last voting poll I have found on the forum regarding the original and intense version is only found on the female thread. I've decided to set one up here in the male fragrance section of the forum to get more opinions.
Dior Homme - I appreciate the lipstick accord actually, although sometimes associated with having a feminine accord, I believe this is what makes this scent so unique and elegant in its own right. The lipstick accord blends well with the sweetness that it gives in the drydown, giving the scent a very pleasant sweet floral almost dessert-like accord after an hour or so.
Dior Homme Intense - This dessert-like accord comes forward to take centre-stage and the sharpness of the lipstick accord takes a backseat. Warm and inviting. I can see why many will appreciate this over Dior Homme.
Essentially, to me, I believe many are voting according to these 2 dimensions of the fragrance which are balanced very differently in Dior Homme and Dior Homme Intense respectively.
1. How sweet/gourmand to they want it.
2. How much they appreciate the lipstick accord/floral notes in the scent.
What do you guys think? Start voting!
(I've added Dior Homme Cologne, though I've hardly tested it, but willing to see what people think of it too)

Dior Homme Intense all the way
I appreciate all of them in their own right.
Please feel free to check out my Swap Thread - Patou pour Homme, L'Instant de Guerlain PH Extreme, Dior Homme Intense, Pure Malt, Pure Coffee and many more! Click Here For My Swap Thread
They all do their job quite well.
Own all three, love all three.
Haven't smelled cologne, but intense>homme. Although I do like homme as well, just not enough to own.
I have the impression from responses in this thread that the Dior Homme range is a quality release. There generally has been, in the forums, that each of these fragrances have garnered positive feedback/reviews. So kudos to Dior for releasing not just a quality original, but flankers and side-projects which are almost equally and if not more popular than the original.
I can think of some fragrance houses which releases great originals, but their flankers are disappointingly insipid or sub-par. One of the more familiar and recent ones to me is the well-received Hugo Boss Bottled (Hugo Boss No.6) fragrance. When I had sampled the Boss Bottled Night flanker they had released very recently, it was extremely disappointing.
Among the good ones I find are that of the L'Instant de Guerlain range, YSL Kouros and YSL L'Homme and La Nuit, Hermes Eau D'Orange and flankers.
Intense, for sure.
Dior Homme is pure class, Dior Homme Intense is bland.
Yes, all three are quite good, not a dog in the bunch.
Intense is my least favorite of the group. I voted for Dior Homme, but it and the Cologne are pretty much neck and neck for which one I like best.
There BOTH very good, BUT my personal taste would lean towards INTENSE.
Dior Homme is fenomenal. Dior Homme Intense is good
both smell great but id say intense wins it projects a lot better and has a nice sweetness to it
If I had to choose, then Dior Homme Intense.
Great works are performed, not by strength, but by perseverance.
Dior Homme Intense
Just curious, anyone tried the cologne version?
Heyy what about Dior Homme Sport?? I am a fan, is it similar to Dior Homme Cologne? I love the original the most though..
All very nice smelling. Dior is a good house.
I wish I could re-vote. I originally picked Cologne.
I now like Original > Cologne > Intense >>>>>>> Sport
Dior Homme much more versatile....
Nothing will beat the original.
I vote in the 3, cause i cant choose between Original and Intense!
I really like the original, but I haven't tried Intense. Is Intense just what the name says, a more intense version of Dior Homme? If that is the case I would probably like Intense better.
If that was the case, I'd probably prefer Intense too. Wish Dior Homme had more sillage.
Intense smells similar but different.
i get a strong smell of cardboard cartons from dior homme, i find it a baffling scent.
I'd like to know the name of the company that provides you with cardboard cartons. Spraying Dior Homme on all of my product packaging is becoming too expensive.
Which is better Havana or Dior Homme Intense?
Intense has the dior homme signature in it's heart although the Intense version has a whole gourmand side of it with the cocoa that the original doesn't have at all.
