Default Help needed with a 21st birthday present! :)

Hey! My friend's 21st is coming up and I thought that a perfume might make a good present but I'm kinda new to this and would greatly appreciate any help! I was browsing through the reviews on this site and think that Miss Dior Cherie, Bright Crystal by Versace and Princess by Vera Wang (Though the name doesn't really appeal to me tbh!) sound pretty good.. I think my friend mentioned that she doesn't really take to heavy, overly mature scents. Which of the three would you recommend? Or are there other scents that you think would be good too? Do let me know! And thanks in advance for your help

My 15 y.o. daughter likes Miss Dior Cherie so certainly it is not too mature for your friend. I doubt the other two would be too old either.
    And welcome to Basenotes!

In the set, Miss Dior Cherie. It has a touch of sweetness but it's not overwhelming. However, rather than towards fruit, I'd steer you towards fresh florals. Examples would be Chanel No. 19, Chanel Christalle, or Gucci Envy, which are all rather greenish and fresh.

If your budget allows you, though, I would try something in the classic Guerlain range, such as l'Heure Bleue or Mitsouko. These are a little more substantial, but are not too heavy or "mature", even to an untrained nose.

Girls here at my job are fond of Miss Dior Cherie.

Dior Addict seems to fit that description.

Thank you all so much for your recommendations!

After a whole day of perfume researching my list has expanded! Which makes it an even greater dilemma really! Too many awesome scents and pretty bottles out there!

    The list now comprises
Miss Dior Cherie (kinda in first place because of all the recommendations!)
    And in no particular order..
    L de Lolita Lempicka
    Incanto Shine - Ferragamo
    Bright Crystal - Versace
    and
    Princess - Vera Wang

    Help would be greatly appreciated
In particular, which scents do you think are suitable for a 21 year old? I.e. Not too mature and not too childish. Other recommendations are welcome too! Thanks again

Princess is inappropriate at all ages, especially 21.

I enjoy L de Lolita but wonder if it might come on too strong for a young person; maybe its lighter sister Fleur de Corail (Coral Flower) could be a good choice?

    Chanel No. 5

Not because she'll like it, but the bottle is a timeless and iconic classic and doubles as a decorative piece. So even if she finds the smell repulsive, or keeps it so long it goes bad, she'll keep the bottle.

No. 5 Eau Premiere could be a good alternative to No. 5.
