    Hey folks

Please give me your top 5 colognes that you think are masterpieces. Take into account smell, longevity, sillage, and originality.

Dior Homme - out of fragrances that I tried this one is closest to perfection - unique, classy, elegant. Only thing that bothers me is longevity that could be better.

Musc Ravageur - top notes could be better but then its perfect with good sillage and great longevity.

Encre Noire - vetiver anyone ?

This 3 are art for me. Other than that I dont find any fragrances that I tried to be masterpieces even if I love them and gave them 5 stars.

I am planing to test some more niche in future so my list of masterpieces will probably grow.
    TOP 5 hot weather:

    1. Gucci Pour Homme II
    2. Lalique Encre Noire
    3. Creed Aventus

    TOP 5 cold weather:

    1. L'Instant de Guerlain Pour Homme Extreme
    2. Chanel Coromandel

So hard to pick - if you're talking "greatest" you'd also have to consider the perfume's place in history. My opinion may change tomorrow, but off the top of my head I'd have to say (not in any order):

    Shalimar
    Mitsouko
    No.5
    Tabac Blonde
    Eau d'Hermes

I find Rose 31 and Carnal Flower to be absolute masterpieces. I have a lot of fragrances that I love and wouldn't want to be without, but, those two strike me as undeniably the crème de la crème of the art.

Very difficult to pick. Mine are based on 'best smell' rather than sillage and longevity (though none of these are lacking in either department).

    Bois du Portugal
    Patou pour Homme
    Derby
    Jubilation XXV
    Coze
