    Default Vetiver testing

I am testing three Vetiver samples this weekend

Duc de Vervins - More than just a vetiver, nice but not spectacular (reminds me of GIT)
    by Houbigant

Original Vetiver - Fresh straight forward Vetiver. Very nice, perhaps it will make my collection.
    By Creed

    Vetiver - TBD
    by Guelain
Five that I am enjoying right now

    1) Sel de Vetiver by The Different Company
    2) Spiritueuse Double Vanille by Guerlain
    3) Bois des Iles by Chanel
    4) Devin by Aramis
    5) Coromandel by Chanel

Guerlain is my favorite. I like the Creed, but it's price tag prevents me from owning it right now.

Are you talking about the 1948 Creed? The best vetiver ever, but it lasts 45 minutes, so why bother? The others are ok. I like Mazzolari, Villoresi and Floris-- totally different from each other, but so darned wonderful, it's ridiculous.

I don't really see Duc de Vervins as a vetiver frag. I believe it is a fougere. Have you tried encre noire, sycomore, vetiver oriental, vetiver tonka?
