Default From the Cheapie Files..........Preferred Stock, tried it again last night before dozing off........

and I woke up impressed with what it had evolved into!

So I wore it out to do some grocery shopping. I walk a lot and I was impressed with it.
When I first got it I sorta thought it was too close to the Salvador Dali's scent, the one in the bottle with the lips top, so I put it away.

Now I'm gonna give it some more wear before the weather warms up!

I'll be sure to go easy on the application though.

Feel free to add any comment on this cheapie, whether + or -

I think it's a really good scent! Nice and strong too. I'm surprised more people don't talk about the leather in it, because I look at it as a leather scent. It smells like a cross between Trussardi Uomo and Giorgio Red For Men to me. I don't wear it often though, mainly because I have so many other frags I'd rather wear, but it still is a good one.

You mentioned that you liked the way it developed over time. What did it ultimately smell like to you?
Check out my blog Pour Monsieur, a no-nonsense guide to men's fragrances:

Very good question, I really can't say for sure, what it smelled like towards the end. It was not flowery yet not what it began as, herbal and I will not say woodsy just sweet.

I noticed in the reviews that someone, as you, mentioned leather.
I don't get that note from this great bargain scent.

Sorry I can't answer your question but it definitely should be given a second chance by those B'Noters that may have turned away after just one try!

It smells like a muted, slightly dirty or sour Sung Homme to me.

It's a decent, dark cologney vetiver scent. Good value for the money imo.
