Default Cologne Choice for a date?

Hello basenoters, I'm new to the forums (sort of, been reading them for about a month but never got around to registering). And I have a question.

Out of my fragrances, which do you all think I should wear on a date tonight? (dinner/movie most likely) Also, I Live in northern Canada, so it's likely to only be 1-2 degrees Celsius by the time I go out.

    L'eau D'issey
    Versace Dreamer
    Boss bottled /#6
    Cool water
    Burberry London

And I'm also curious as to what all of your fragrance choices are for your nights out or dates.

When I'm serious about boning, I wear:

    Divine l'homme Sage
    Versace l'homme
Giorgio Beverly Hills VIP for Men

When I just want to increase my chances of boning some random chick, I wear Musc Ravageur

London - women enjoy it because it's masculine, and it would seem sophisticated to her.

    Without question Dreamer

The thing about dreamer for me though, is that although I really do like the scent, the brutal opening of it usually lasts over an hour on me. I'm usually worried when I put it on that it won't have enough to work off that opening, and I'll go out and repulse someone.

Interesting, I never really had issues with the opening. I wore it pretty regularly in college and the ladies I knew always seemed to love it. Maybe try putting it on extra early before leaving? I just think of your options it will work best in colder weather, Issey and Cool Water are both much more suited for summer, I am not a fan of Boss, and I don’t find London to be a very sensual fragrance, which is certainly something you would want on a date. Bottom line, though, wear what you are most comfortable and confident in. She is going to notice you smell nice, regardless which one you choose!

I can handle the opening of the dreamer, but I can see where all of the complaints about the opening come from.. That's for sure.

    Another vote for London.

Out of your collection, I don't think you can go wrong with any of them really. However if I had to choose, I'd go with:
    1. Boss Bottled
    2. Dreamer/London
    3. Cool Water
    4. L'eau D'issey

My personal favorites would have to be YSL's La Nuit, Pure Malt or L'instant Extreme (in no particular order) from my very limited wardrobe.

I own all but one on the list (Boss 6 - which I do not like). I'd go with the Dreamer. I find it very warm and alluring, great for being in close quarters.

Dreamer by far. Great scent and females love it. If you don't believe me, feel free to check out the rave reviews from the ladies at makeupalley.com. Personally I like the topnotes, but it's easy to see why some would be put off by them. It's an acquired taste fo sho.
