Looking forward to this!
I have an update for July 7thís SF Sniff. We will be starting at about noon.
Meetup place for NOON on Saturday July 7th is Alexander Book Company on 2nd between Mission and Market. Unusual venue for perfume, you say? Not so! We will be kicking off with Alyssa Harad, author of the wonderful book "Coming to my Senses". She will have some interesting things to smell, a giveaway or two, and read a little bit from her book. She is a charming, lovely woman and fabulous writer.
If you can, get there between 11:45 and noon so I can get you checked in, give you a name tag, map, itinerary, etc. I will also have a SWAG BAG!!! Some perfumers who cannot attend the salon, and a few who are, have sent me samples to hand out.
After Alexander Books we will proceed to Union Square, which is a couple of blocks or one BART/Metro stop away. The best stop to get out on for the bookstore is Montgomery, and for Union Square is Powell.
If you plan to come later please message me and I will give you my cell number to contact me.
If you havenít gotten your tickets for the Artisan Fragrance Salon, remember that there will not be tickets sold at the door! http://www.artisanfragrancesalon.com/
Hope to see you there!

I forgot to mention that we will close the day with a casual dinner and swapfest, so bring your unwanted samples, decants, bottles, etc. to throw on the table.
Looking forward to this!
Are you the only one coming from here?? lol
I'm sorry I can't make it ! I would love to !
I'm flagrantly (fragrantly??) bumping this thread because this is coming up this weekend!
If you've ever made it to one of our San Francisco Basenotes Meet-Ups, Saturday's SF Sniff is basically the same thing, but including a book discussion (with sniffing, of course), an afternoon shopping, and our now-legendary sample trade dinner.
If anyone is interested, just show up. It's free. Or if you're going to be late or only want to meet for late afternoon or dinner, PM me and I'll give you my number so you can call and find out where we are so you can catch up with us.
Then, in even bigger news, Sunday is the SF Artisan Fragrance Salon, organized by, among others, Yosh Han. She's put together an epic collection of artisan perfumers, some big and some very independent, some of whom are making one-of-a-kind specials for this event.

This has been getting a lot of love on the blogs, but very little talk here on BN, but I'm sure we're all hoping the bay area Basenoters will be attending!
HI rogalal & Tama
I have a ticket for Sunday but- I have some issues on the homefront that came up and probably won't shlep all the way up there this time- as much fun as the whole weekend sounds.
If I don't make it, I feel good I bought a ticket at least, to support the Salon on Sunday.
Sync'in and Think'in in 2015!
Doh! I was hoping to see you again... I hope all works out well at home, Knit.
I'm going! I'm going!
Sorry I won't get to meet you this time, Knit, but I look forward to saying a real life hello to you, Rogalal!
Cool! Will you be there Saturday or just Sunday?
