For those of you who haven't smelled it yet, I think it's nice. It's unique in the sense that it's a violet leaf aquatic - something I haven't smelled before. I don't find it unpleasant at all, and I mostly smell violet, calone, and a bit of woods (driftwood) in the base. The longevity is good.
This one doesn't really conjure up images of sunny beaches. More like the Long Island shoreline on a cool, foggy and overcast day. I'm glad the violet note doesn't go the Grey Flannel or I-12 path and end up smelling like mashed potatoes and grass picked out of the ground.
So, overall, Ocean Wet Wood isn't groundbreaking, but it's pleasant and I like it. Props to ziffy321 for selling me a bottle.

Calone just smells like a chemical factory to me, unfortunately.

Ive been tempted to blind buy this too. Glad its working out for you.
I like it also, just not as much as Rocky Mountain Wood which is fantastic. There's something about the opening that bothers me a bit, but the heart and drydown in OWW is rather nice and bares similarities to RMW.
