Green Water by Jacques Fath
I'm female, and go with feminine or unisex fragrances most of the time, but I quite happily wear some of the less hairy-chested men's scents - things like Black Fleece or Russian cheapie Novaya Zarya Tabak. (I know and agree that we should all just wear what smells good on/to us, whatever counter it's on, but there are just some scents that I personally I am not, I guess, man enough for.)
So what I'd like is a good, not completely XY lime scent at a reasonable price point, and I wondered if anyone here would have any recommendations. I've tested Crabtree & Evelyn's West Indian Lime, which is affordable and nice enough, but somewhat less limey and more soapy than I'm picturing. Jo Malone just costs way more than I feel like spending on what will amount to a summer pick-me-up.
Any thoughts? And thanks for your time!

What about Azure Lime?
I think there are quite a few nice female lime scents: Escale a Portofino Dior, Sweet Lime and Cedar Jo Malone... no real need to dig into male perfumery!
Yet, when it comes to lime, nothing like Voyage d'Hermes: i find loads of lime (and juniper?) in the opening, it's like wearing a gin and tonic!

This one is perfect and quite unisex:
Bronnley Lime & Bergamot Eau Fraiche. 100ml, $17 at smallflower.com, and lasts a good 5 hours on me.
They even have matching body products (which I have not tried, however):
I actually like this more than the Jo Malone Lime, Basil & Mandarine.
BTW, JM French Lime Blossom isn't lime, it's linden. For some odd reason linden trees are also called "lime blossom" but they are not citrus.
I like to layer Crabtree & Evelyn's West Indian Lime Cologne with Trumper's Extract of West Indian Limes - the Trumper provides the intial blast of lime while the C & E ensures some longevity once the Trumper has evaporated.
Versace Baby Blue Jeans has a pleasant zingy lime opening on a light powdery vanillic base.

Creed Virgin Island Water has a great lime note with coconut. Great for summer!

Thank you so much! I bravely blind bought the Bronnley, and it'll do very well!

I don't see any reason a woman couldn't wear those in confidence.
