I don't take stock of clothes versus fragrance. Hard to quantify this.
Both are an absolute necessity!
What would you say is your ratio between money spent on
Fragrances vs Clothes (including shoes, accessories but not jewellry)?
For me, over the past couple of years... probably 1:10 to 1:12.
I don't take stock of clothes versus fragrance. Hard to quantify this.
Both are an absolute necessity!

"Thick dome of jasmine

"The Flower Duet," Lakme by Leo Delibes, 1881
Neither do I, but not too hard to estimate through memory.
5/1
Don't keep track of my expenses shelled out regarding fragrances or clothes.
If I had to take a stab, probably around 3:1. Factor out the horribly over-priced concert T-shirts, and maybe more like 4:1.
"Christian Dior / You wasted your life
On aroma and clothes / Fabric and dyes." Christian Dior - Morrissey
hmm probably like 10 : 1 haha, because i go to the gym everyday so i just wear white T's everyday, no point wasting 2 shirts in one day, (buy in bulk, 6 shirts for 17 bucks) haha. I get a new pair of shoes maybe once every10 months or so. Most of my money for clothes go to emporio armani boxer briefs for those nights. ;]
My money spent on fragrances vs money spent on clothes ratio is like 1:1, but it have to change. Variety and quality of clothes is much more important for everyday life than colognes especially when it comes to women.
I havnt spent a cent on clothes in maybe a year. On the flipside ive spent at least $1000 on cologne. I dont care about my clothes too much. Ide actually rather wear thrift store fits than i would designer clothes. As long as my face looks good and i smell great theres no need to show off with my clothes

I don't keep up with clothing styles, only wear what is comfortable and, as a stay at home mom, do not need to dress up every day. I use clothing until it wears out or stops looking right (shrinkage etc.)
So I spend much less on clothing than on fragrance. I'm sure that will change somewhat when I return to work, but I will still probably spend more on fragrance.
Clothes?
I spend too much on fragrances and too much on clothes/accessories.![]()
before (3-4 years ago) the ratio was 1:10 , now is just the opposite 10:2 for fragances

I smell great but I wear no pants.
Uhm, Emlynevermore......"it's time to wear the pants!"![]()
More on fragrance than on clothes. But now that I've acquired some very good fragrances, my sartorial wardrobe needs an upgrade. Damn you, good fragrances...
I definitely spend more on fragrance than anything else. *LOL* I buy clothes if I really really like something and of course I have to have my cosmetics and skin carebut .....perfume first !

Petty small minded people have no place in my life.
Wow, interesting... I spend way more on clothes, but I can go a long time without buying clothes if I don't need anything. I am currently buying frags on a more regular basis but unless you're buying exclusively high end niche products it isn't nearly as expensive as clothes. I mean, a designer pair of pants can cost $150-$300 or more while the same brand's frags are $50. I shop discounters too, but even the last shirt I got at Marshalls was $50 (reg $150).
IMO, clothes, shoes and grooming have more of an effect on how you are perceived than frags. For me, a big part of my interest in frags comes from the differences in how you are perceived by others while wearing them... I find it amusing.
Wow. Verysurprising how many people spend more money on fragrances than clothes, and by such a wide margin too.
this year i have spent way more on clothes than fragrances. But then i havent needed to replace my shoes, which is always a large percentage of my clothes. But I definitely smell better than I dress.
5:1 and I'm being conservative!
Good question... Before this year, it'd have been 1:10ish as I'd maybe buy 2 scents in a year, whereas I'd buy clothes or footwear every pay day... This year has gone full turn. Hardly bought any clothes. But been buying up to 6 frags in a month. I even bought a shirt a couple of months back to suit the frag I'd just bought!!
Currently it'd be around 6:1
LOST! in scent and music
As long as my body is right, clothes are worth fuck-all to me.
Probably 2:1 clothes to fragrances
Fragrance to clothing/accessories ratio?
1:7, I think.
On a side note, the money I was supposed to be saving on clothes (lost weight a couple months back and need to buy fitted jeans, etc that was to be spent on Father's Day - waiting on deals/bargains for that weekend) end up going to Creed Aventus 120mL flask. lolz
