    Thumbs up Would James Bond wear [INSERT FRAGRANCE NAME]?

    Okay, I was inspired by another thread I found and had this idea, see this thread as a sort of game, we will all list one to three scents and the person below us has to tell us whether they think James Bond would wear it or not and why. Then this person would write one or two new scents and then the process is repeated by the next person. (PS: If you don't know one of the scents just skip it and it will be up to the next person to answer, just choose one you know.)

    Warning: This thread isn't about what James Bond wears in the movies or novels but more about what would suit his personality and style. For instance if he wears one of the scents in say his movies or something you can still say no if you think it doesn't fit 007.

    Okay let's start:

    Penhaligon's Castille
    Floris No 89
    L'Instant Homme Extreme de Guerlain
    Creed Erolfa

    1950s Bond - Floris 89
    1960s Bond- Habit Rouge
    1970s Bond - Royal Scottish Lavender
    1980s Bond- Creed Bois du Portugal
    1990s Bond- Guerlain Derby
    2000s Bond- Amouage dia Man

    Sorry OP, can't envision Bond wearing a gourmand or aquatic. It's too mainstream and contemporary.

    Hmmm...when I read the rules - "we will all list one to three scents and the person below us has to tell us whether they think James Bond would wear it or not and why. Then this person would write one or two new scents and then the process is repeated by the next person" - I notice that no one is following them. They're just listing their ideas.

    I can't comment on the previous as I do not know them. But here's an idea. The only person to play Bond that was really my idea of Bond was Sean Connery. According to http://www.celebrityfragranceguide.com/ he wears Habit Rouge and Jicky.

    P.S. This just in: oddly enough, Roger Moore also is said to wear Jicky.

    For me, he would wear Sartorial, and the perfume of the last woman he seduced.

    Sean Connery -> Knize Ten
    Roger Moore -> Pino Silvestre
    Pierce Brosnan -> wears nothing, he smells like sweat
    Daniel Craig -> Chanel No.5

    Nah! Daniel wears Petite Cherie! LOL.
    Since Pierce is Irish and proud of it, Irish Green Tweed.
    Roger would have worn Chanel No. 5!
    And Sean, the best of all the Bonds...whatever he wants to!

    A slightly joking off-topic remark on the side, without naming one specific fragrance or another:

    I only wonder why Creed (nothing against Creed, though) has not cashed in on the James Bond-fanbase yet, by releasing a fragrance marketed with following backstory:

    "Released at first in the late forties and worn by Ian Fleming while writing most of his Bond novels, this scents captures the TRUE essence of Bond..."

    The text may go on, but you get the point.
