Good Morning All,
Inspired by the beautiful roses that are blooming in my garden now, I've opted for:

It's a day off (public holiday) and already a long weekend for me... ...
so I'm kicking a sampling day off in a wrist comparison current vs. vintage Chanel Cuir de Russie EdT. I expected a greater difference I can say straight away.... I think I have to repeat that the current parfum is a masterpiece (combination of dabbing and spraying on clothes). The new stuff has a warmth and sexiness - is it the pronounced ylang-ylang? - that I don't want to miss.
Inspired by Larimar's comments about Cuir de Russie, I will be wearing some (current, not vintage) when I go to work later today. Take care, all.
Guerlain's Cuir de Russie <3
Oh Dimi, you are a show-off...I bet you smell wonderful, no I know you MUST smell wonderful. I mean Guerlain and CdR...
The Chanel CdR EdTs have both nearly left me... as foreseen.
So, further up my arm I'm sampling 31, Rue Cambon and Bel Respiro. I like the Rue (How long will it stay with me?), but the Respiro... cough... it's green... VERY so.

Good morning everyone Tomorrow I'm going south for a few days to see my mom, but also to visit my certain crush Looking forwardto it!! Today is all about packing and doing the laundry etc.Today is a beautiful day, but still sleepy( stayed up late to watch the midnightsun eclipse. It was quite amazing!) Sotd is Nahema. Have a nice day everyone
Guerlain's Coriolan EdT. Coriolan reminds you just how much Jean-Paul Guerlain inherited his grandfather's control of the drydown. The challenge is not to make a perfume smell good at the start, especially not the masculines which always have fresh, aromatic or spicy top notes, but to make it smell so great throughout the evaporation process that to reapply would feel like ruining the ride. His talent was clear already with Vetiver whose last hours to some are even better than the first, and Coriolan didn't fall short.
Good morning friends. Givenchy III today (the reissue). Green to go with my garden.
We are smelling mighty fine today Basenoters!
Ivoire is my scent of choice - it makes me feel very "together."

A woman without perfume is like a flower without a scent.
Good morning all. SotD is LesNez The Unicorn Spell.
Hope you are feeling better, Brielle.
Neil Morris Storm today.
I don't like the very very beginning, but it smoothes out and is floral and kind of humid smelling, in a good way.

Have I told you about the scent of jasmine? Have I spoken about the smell of the sea? The earth is scented. And I perfume myself to enhance what I am. That's why I can not wear a perfume that bothers me. Perfuming is an instinctive wisdom. And like all art, it requires some knowledge of yourself..."

Yesterday it was Paco Rabanne's Metal, and that smelled so good to me in this heat wave, that I'm gonna wear it again today.
Wooznib Cathedral in Flames again, did not understand it yesterday because just one spray would give me an initial impression (something I do not hate and would like to get to know better done like Frapin would), leave a subtle trace on the clothes and be gone. Robust three sprays today.
Hey y'all -
I'm in Citizen Queen this morning. Have a good day everyone!
Science is not only compatible with spirituality, it is a profound source of spirituality. When we recognize our place in an immensity of light-years and in the passage of ages, when we grasp the intricacy, beauty, and subtlety of life, then that soaring feeling, that sense of elation and humility combined, is surely spiritual. ..Carl Sagan
Back to Chanel #5 Eau Premiere today.
Wow, everyone smells fantastic!
Mr. G, your pictorial/verbal review is fascinating, as usual. I love Jean-Paul Guerlain's creations. As I look back over the years, and even now in my wardrobe, I have always been drawn to his style. I love that leather pouch for the bottle!
I'm joining Volley2 in the house of Goutal today. Musc Nomade is my SotM. I've loved this one lately.
Weatherman says it's supposed to be a little less humid today. I hope so!
Have a good day all!
Heeley - Cuir Pleine Fleur
It's dropped from Monday's 32 to a high of 19 today, so I wore something cozy: SL Santal Blanc.
