    Agreed!

    Ted Lapidus pour Homme and Lapidus Black Soul will tie for honours in the designer category. Lapidus must be in some sort pf competition with Bogart for the olfactory ordnance stakes.

    Hello,according to the basenotes' data both Ted Lapidus and Jacques Bogart are from the same group.

    Funny on my skin Amouage Gold does a good job 10 hours , but Amouage Epic Men lasts at least 48 hours!

    Descartes, I suspect the OP doesn't know the difference, and cologne is his generic word for any fragrance marketed to men.

    In my wardrobe, of the ones I recall: Joop! and Fleur du Male, are for sure the strongest ones. Le Male, O de Lancome pour Homme, Lapidus pour Homme, Dior Homme Intense, Balenciaga pour Homme, Bogart pour Homme and Kouros are ones to be applied with care. Among the ones for women, Obsession, Opium and Aromatics Elixir are really ones to be careful with.

    PS:How could I forget about A*Men and Gaultier2??

    I dunno if New Haarlem could be considered? I'm full of the cold, and can hardly smell anything, but nevertheless I spritzed a little NH on my hand, and considering I have a pretty bad cold, I'm still getting lovely whiffs of this, it's the first time I have smelt this on my skin and damn it smells good

    a few.

    Opium PH EDP is intense thick syrupy sweet amd heavy.. and it keeps going

    Gaultier2 which is also an edp is sweet intense and long lasting

    AMen and Joopare also pretty strong. Bogart PH is another beast.

    If we are talking fragrances called "Cologne" on the bottle then I would give the award to Helmut Lang Cologne which lasts way longer (10 to 12 hours) longer than anything which purports to be a Cologne in the traditional sense.

    In USA everything is Cologne
    In Europe, there are:

    - Cologne (Subtle, splash like generally citrus etc)
    - Eau de Toillete;
    - Eau de Parfum;

    Europeans are as right as Americans on their descriptions, IMHO what really matters is either it smells good or it does not ;-)) Peace and love to all of you!

    I'm sure OP just means men's fragrance.

    I vote for Noir Epices. But now there are several different answers and not just one single "strongest" answer. OP why don't you help narrow it down. What do you like other than strongest and long lasting.

    One Man Show Gold Edition Highly Concentrated by Jacques Bogart. 3 sprays is more than enough (and I wear 6 or more sprays of Kouros, Joop, Angel Men, Fleur du Male, Gaultier2, etc)

    I salute your bravery! Why 6? Does your skin soak fragrance up or do you just like having a scent trail?

    Totally agree. Joop Homme would wipe the floor strength and longevity-wise pitted against anything else. It lasts at least 12 days with strength on any shirt it is sprayed on. It leaves vapour trails in windless city blocks and empty corridors where one can't see anybody in sight who left the trail there.

    Used as a cologne, the much weaker Joop aftershave splash is good for two days.
    Regards,
    Renato

    P.S. I own Sables, Giorgio, Salvador Dali, Opium EDP, Fahrenheit (vintage), Lapidus, One Man Show, Sung Homme - all are third raters compared to Joop PH.

    Spray Joop and Lapidus on two socks. Put them in a drawer or cupboard. Check them in a week - I think you will change your mind.
