    Default I think I've "retired"!

Well hello fellow Basenoters, it's been quite awhile since I've posted anything legitimate. This is mostly due to the fact I've lost much of my luster towards this hobby. I've gone back to the hobby I find timeless to me: guitar playing, repair, writing, etc. Most of my hobby passion has gone into this and I'm loving it. They're quite beautiful works of art and craftsmanship

^my actual guitar, the other was just really cool lol

I haven't purchased a fragrance for myself in many months now, the last being a metal A*Men bottle. I've been slowly using my collection up, and have settled on, rather unsurprising to anyone who knows my tastes, the Muglers of my collection, as well as Chergui and a few others I put on once in awhile. I've actually been using my "clean" fragrances alot! Mugler Cologne, Wings for Men, Ice*Men to name a few. A*Men remains my favorite and is officially my signature scent (people literally smell me when they smell it, my plan went accordingly ).

I'm just stopping by to say hello, and I may be lurking and posting every now and again. I still love my fragrances and will always be wearing something! I've just been enjoying my summer, I'll be heading off to college/university (whatever you Europeans call if these days ) in the fall to study biology and maybe minor in mathematics.

I hope you're all doing excellent and smelling amazing, cheers!

Stay in touch Neurosis. I'll remember you every time I wear Pure Malt and the frenzy you started.

We'll miss you here and your boundless enthusiasm for Monsieur Mugler. Take that passion and direct it towards your goals. You'll be unstoppable.

No need to explain why the luster comes off of a particular interest. We grow and learn.

    Best wishes, Neurosis.

Between fragrances and my guitars I have lost plenty of money. Sometimes my interest wanes in one regard for a while, but it has always waxed again. One day, maybe in a year, maybe in a few, you might catch a whiff of something you'd never encountered that will turn your dormant passion into a bloodlust. Sometimes a melody will come to me unbidden when I haven't been paying attention to music for a while.

I feel ya; my drumming has taken a big back seat to cycling and now fragrance in the last year. Hopefully I will rediscover the fervor as you have, especially since I'm moving to a huge music town in ten days. But good luck in all your pursuits.

It's always good to find a passion in something creative. Continue smelling good, even in college! Maybe start a new thread for best fragrance for a jamming session.

All the best Neurosis. Great guitar !!!!!Enjoy and have fun!!!!
Have I told you about the scent of jasmine? Have I spoken about the smell of the sea? The earth is scented. And I perfume myself to enhance what I am. I didn't know you when you were on before, since I am new, but I just wanted to say that was very kind of you to drop by and give a status report to your old online friends. I know what it's like to burn through hobbies and interests, replacing one with another - at probably nearly 30 years older than you, I've had a lot of them. So it's OK. The important part is to value what you have learned even as you move on, and it sounds like you are doing that - and if you have friends from your old hobby that are still in your life even as the hobby wanes, value them and introduce them to your friends from your new hobby - you might be surprised what happens! Enjoy college/uni!

You wear Chergui AND play guitar? The girls at school are going to *love* you...that is, if you ever manage to escape from the bio lab.

It was good to hear from you. Stop by when you can.
