Yes. I own and enjoy Special Reserve, Citrus Musk, Bay Rum and Lilac Vegetal.

I'm not sure I'd go quite as far as saying they're "just as good" as the original one, but Classic Vanilla (which smells nothing like vanilla), Special Reserve, and Lilac Vegetal (which has some serious men's room vibe going on) are all three worth picking up. I didn't like their Bay Rum, although I'm a fan of bay rums in general.

So far, Special Reserve is the only flanker that I tried and, believe me, it is an awesome scent.

Has anyone tried the Clubman Draggon Noir or the Lustray Spice Aftershave?

Special Reserve is quite nice and unexpected. Nice leather scent. Not very similar, if at all, to Clubman. Certainly doesn't smell as inexpensive as it is.

Lilac Vegetal has to be one of the oddest things I've run into. Amazingly, it must sell pretty well because I frequently see it and regular Clubman in drugstores here. I never see any other Clubman scents in stores. It is almost worth the low cost just to smell it and be done with it. Mine went into the toilet.

It seems like what a craggy face prospector circa 1855 would splash on after his first bath and shave after four months out digging for silver. And he wouldn't smell much better than he did before the bath and shave...but marginally so.

Special Reserve is fantastic.. better than the original, imo, which is also great.

I have the Draggon Noir. It smells like a cheap copy of Drakkar Noir. You're better off sticking with Clubman, Special Reserve, Vanilla, Lilac Veg, and Citrus Musk.

Yes. A lot of the fougeres are reiminiscent of each other... Brut, Clubman, Rive Gauche, Sartorial, English Fern, Azzaro PH...

I get more resemblance to Racquets than to Sartorial. The sharp notes are what stands out in Sartorial to me (along with the beeswax) and those make it feel pretty dissimilar to Clubman. I get much more by way of soft florals and musk from Clubman and Racquets.

Another vote for Special Reserve. Excellent baseball mitt leather scent.

I recently ordered and received Special Reserve and I must say I was amazed. I paid less than $6 dollars in total from drugstore.com. I never thought I would gravitate towards leather scents, but for the past few months I've been on the hunt for leather scents. I have sampled over 20 of them and for the price and quality of juice Special Reserve is stunning! Thanks for directing me to this gem Basenotes!

Elsha 1776 is next on my leather list.
