You might like the new Aqua Fahrenheit. Supposed to evoke lava meets water, so it may have the same thing. I like all these scents you mention, and Aqua Fahrenheit really wowed me from the magazine flap. Haven't smelled it for real, but looking to do so a.s.a.p.
What's funny is that after all of the TdH reviews I've read and watched on YouTube, I was prepared to hate it, but I loved it.

I definitely will be stopping by a department store soon, most likely later today to try out aqua fahrenheit.

I wish I had known that fruity musk probably wasn't the best description to use as a thread title, but I'm learning what the pattern is in what is WOWing me. Right now all I can say is dirty/smoky sweetness.

I'm going to get hounded out of the building for saying this, but my favourite musky fruity scent (after Aventus) is Rocawear 9IX.
Currently wearing: Arabian Wood by Tom Ford

Try Varvatos Artisan... Orange, musk, a trace of woods. Longevity is poor on skin but pretty good on fabric. Good value, imo...

    Cool Re: Masculine/Musky Fruit Scents?

    Dirty sweetness?

    MKK
    Eau d'Hermes.

    Masculine fruit scents:

Geir --used to be loved here on BN, now we hardly mention it, fickle souls that we are.
Nicole Miller for Men--Original. Not the reformulated crap that lasts 5 min.
Le Roy Soleil by Salvador Dali--Check out the notes in the reviews
Quasar by J del Pozo---Aqua fruity with banana+ newspaper scent? Insane but good.

    Cheers,

Creed Acier Aluminum. Think Juicy Fruit gum, with a way-naughty, '70s porn star vibe. Oh my, it is really great stuff.

No hounding - just a total agree. I broke it out last night just to be sure how fruity it really was. It's a good one, too.

    Masculine Fruity Musk- Aventus.

D&G The One used to be my sig scent during late winter-spring-early summer time.In this temperature its too much fruity on my skin-I would advice you to try it during evening time and you might find it interesting.

Somthing Dirty musk- Pheromone for Men by M.M.[try it once, only one spray on chest is good for 24 hours-dirty powdery musky]

    try Joop! Nightflight
Tom Ford Black Orchid and Tuscan Leather (rasberry tobacco), maybe even Japon Noir (spice, fruit, leather)
By Kilian Back to Black (cherry tobacco)
    Hermes Voyage (juniper)

+1 to Amouage Jubilation and D&G Pour Homme.

PS - I think that you think what you're looking for is a musky fruit but it's not quite the best description since that's something else. Eg L'Artisan Mure et Musc is a perfect fruit and musk combo, but you probably won't like it. You're thinking more along the lines of leathers, spices, woods, etc with fruity aspects. Jubilation XXV or Japon Noir are probably closer to what you'll like.
Tom Ford Splits!!!! - Tobacco Vanille, Tuscan Leather, Oud Wood, Noir de Noir - PATCHOULI ABSOLU
Plum Japonais, Italian Cypress, Neroli Portofino, Costa Azzura, Azure Lime, Champacca Absolute

HARD TO FIND - Lavender Palm, Arabian Wood, and AMBER ABSOLUTE, etc...

Most of the time I am very proud of the Basenotes community. Time after time I have witnessed the thoughtfulness, empathy & genuine friendship that members of this community extend to others - oldtimers & newcomers alike. There are other times, however, when egos get the upper hand and civility goes out the window. My philosophy is that I won't say anything here that I would not say if you were standing in front of me. Welcome to Basenotes, each and every one of us. ~ TwoRoads

I completely agree with you. As I started to smell more and more I realized that it wasn't specifically musky fruits that I liked. I definitely think its leathers, incense/smokiness, and maybe even mineral accords and the like that dirty up sweet scents that I like. I like vetiver in a few fragrances, but I haven't liked it as much in others. But I like a masculine edge to sweet smells.

Thanks for the suggestions, they look pretty good
